Product Line Manager III
Position Summary:
In this role, you will model and analyze customer environments to align solution options to service requirements balancing performance, risk, resiliency, and total cost of implementation. You will support both tactical opportunities and early concept evaluations, helping teams prove value in real-world applications. The ideal candidate is energetic, process-oriented, and highly articulate, with strong working knowledge across multi-vendor systems and network platforms. You will partner with Sales & Marketing, Delivery, and Engineering to evaluate solution options for bids and business cases and to support feasibility reviews.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify customer pain points and critical business issues and translate them into scalable service-solution programs that deliver measurable outcomes.
- Analyze customer topologies and service objectives to recommend solution options across multi-vendor systems and network platforms.
- Validate and communicate performance, capacity, resiliency, scalability, and cost tradeoffs.
- Partner with bid/RFP response teams to deliver solution modeling, comparative options, and clearly documented assumptions.
- Support the creation of solution value propositions, bills of materials, costing, and price models.
- Enable Sales & Marketing with technical narratives for customer meetings, proposals, and executive-level presentations.
- Coordinate with Delivery, Engineering, and Operations to confirm integration requirements, implementation approach, and testing/acceptance plans.
- Maintain and improve internal tools, templates, and data sources used for solution analysis; update content as platforms evolve and contribute process improvement ideas.
- Provide structured feedback to product planning teams on capability gaps, interoperability considerations, and enhancement opportunities.
- Support account teams with scenario analysis and periodic financial impact assessments for deals and portfolio decisions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, program management, engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive program/project management experience, with leadership of large-scale, complex, multi-project programs.
- Advanced knowledge of Layer 3 and optical networking equipment (preferred).
- Advanced knowledge of, and experience in, a telecom central office environment (preferred).
- Experience with Asana, Microsoft Project, or similar tools for portfolio planning, scheduling, resource management, and reporting.
- Hands-on experience with SAP for program financial management (budgets, forecasts, cost controls, procurement).
- Experience with multi-vendor tools (preferred).
- Attention to detail with a proven record of accurate, audit-ready documentation and reporting.
- Excellent written, verbal, and executive presentation skills; ability to tailor messages to technical and business audiences.
- Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills: demonstrated success in matrixed, cross-functional environments.
- Experience in risk management, dependency management, and change control across multiple projects.
- Demonstrated program financial acumen.
- Experience driving process improvement and standards.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
As we are looking for a remote position, the disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. 1Finity aligns salaries to the specific geographic location in which the work is primarily performed. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each situation. The pay range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: specific skills, qualifications, experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. The pay range for this position is estimated at$111,860 to $178,976 USD. Additionally, this role may be eligible for a short-term incentive based on company results and individual performance.
