Job Description:

 

Role and Accountabilities:

 

  • We are seeking seasoned Content Management system lead.
  • The ideal candidate should be Technical Editor/Writer will have a strong background in copy editing and maintaining technical, functional and research documentation, with the ability to review, edit, and improve technical content for clarity, accuracy, and consistency. 
  • This role involves working closely with subject matter experts, engineers, and project teams to ensure that all technical documents meet established quality standards and style guidelines.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Review and edit technical documents, including design specifications, process documentation, training material, user guides, and reports.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with organizational standards and style guides.
  • Identify and correct technical inaccuracies, ambiguities, and inconsistencies in documents.
  • Collaborate with technical teams, product managers, and SMEs to validate technical details and terminology.
  • Apply copy editing skills to improve grammar, punctuation, readability, and flow of content.
  • Maintain version control and track document revisions.
    Standardize document structure, formatting, and terminology across deliverables.
    Stay updated with industry best practices, technical writing tools, and documentation standards.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience (5+ years) as a technical writer, technical editor, or copy editor in a technical environment. Eg. Oracle application related content
  • Familiarity with structured authoring (DITA, XML) or content management systems.
  • Strong command of grammar, punctuation, and editing rules.
  • Ability to understand and edit technical content for both accuracy and readability.
  • Familiarity with documentation standards (e.g., Microsoft Manual of Style, Chicago Manual of Style, or similar).
  • Proficiency with MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and documentation tools
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
