  • High proficiency in English grammar, vocabulary.
  • Fluency in speech - Ability to hold a conversation with ease.
  • Listening skills - Comprehend what is being said, respond appropriately without interrupting the speaker.
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in Information Security Analyst related role.
  • Strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making and working with department teams.
  • Good to have any Information security certifications like CompTIA Security+, CEH, ISO 27001 etc.
  • Knowledge of log analysis, Security systems, incident management, antivirus software, log management, O365, Intune, Web Proxy solutions
  • Ability to decide & act in ambiguity.
  • Plan & operate with an agile mindset in remote work setting.
  • Vulnerability Assessment and Vulnerabilities Management:
    • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments of systems, networks, and applications using various tools and methodologies.
    • Analyse scan results, prioritize vulnerabilities based on risk, and work with development and operations teams to track remediation efforts.
    • Stay up to date with emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Incident Management & Response:
    • Participate in the incident response lifecycle, including detection, analysis, containment, eradication, recovery, and post-incident analysis.
    • Utilize SIEM tools to monitor security events, identify anomalies, and investigate potential security incidents.
    • Develop and maintain incident response playbooks and procedures.
  • Security Assessment Report Preparation:
    • Generate clear, concise, and actionable security assessment reports detailing findings, risk levels, and recommended remediation strategies for technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Present findings to relevant stakeholders and facilitate remediation discussions.
  • Web Gateway Security:
    • Analyze logs and alerts from web gateway solutions to detect and respond to suspicious activities.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft WCF and Zscaler would be an added advantage.
  • SIEM Tool Management:
    • Operate and optimize Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions for effective log analysis, correlation, and alerting.
    • Develop custom correlation rules, dashboards, and reports to enhance threat detection capabilities.
  • Information Security Management System (Good to have):
    • Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of our ISO 27001-compliant Information Security Management System.
    • Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to security policies and standards.
    • Assist in the development and review of security policies, standards, and procedures.
