Senior Middleware Engineer

Experience: 5-10 Years.

Shift: Australia Shift (3:30 am- 12:30pm)

Location: Pune, Chennai, Banglore, Noida, Hyderabad

JD: WAS, WebLogic, Tomcat and MQ Admin (Middleware)WAS, WebLogic, Tomcat -Skill –

Experience in WebSphere/WebLogic/Tomcat in Windows/AIX/Linux Environment.Build,

 configure and support projects assigned and ensure quality delivered till the project goes live.

Installing/Upgrading WebSphere/WebLogic/Tomcat and troubleshooting issues

Installing/Upgrading IBM MQ and troubleshooting issues

Working knowledge of cluster / non cluster environment within WebSphere Application Server ND.

Hands-on knowledge in WebLogic (Deployment/troubleshoot/migration) cluster environment

.Configure and administer WebSphere resources like JDBC providers, Data Sources, JNDI, J2C authentication alias and various other configurations including MQ queue/ qcf etc.

Deploying J2EE applications like WAR / EAR files through admin console / jython scripts.

Troubleshooting Level1 -2 issues in production / non-production.

Knowledge on heap dump / thread dump analysis for monitoring the usage of various resources inside WAS.

Knowledge of ITIL.

Monitoring of middleware environments (WebSphere Application Server, WebLogic Application Server, Apache Tomcat, WebSphere MQSeries) is a plus

Knowledge of deployment automation is a plus

Knowledge of Shell scripting is a plus

MQ -Skill –Administer WebSphere MQ – which involves troubleshooting of MQ issues related to distributed queuing, MQ Authorities, Cluster, SSL etcResolving connectivity issues by coordinating end to end testing with applications.Understanding of MQ monitoring and configuration. (Dynatrace and CheckMK)Understand business, environments, shared services to prioritize incidentsInteract with application teams and other infrastructure teams
