Role Purpose

The Business Applications Specialist applies in-depth knowledge of functional and business areas to identify, customize, and implement appropriate application solutions for external clients. This includes systems such as HR Information Systems, ERP, CRM, and manufacturing/supply chain platforms. The role involves analyzing client needs, designing business process requirements, and translating these into both off-the-shelf and customized specifications.

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Apply conceptual and practical knowledge in business applications to identify and implement tailored solutions for clients.
  • Analyze client needs and translate business requirements into technical specifications, leveraging professional judgment and diverse sources of information.
  • Customize and deploy solutions using industry-standard platforms, incorporating knowledge of best practices and competitor insights.
  • Independently manage small-scale projects, ensuring accountability for results and alignment with broad guidelines and organizational policies.
  • Optimize business processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives using problem-solving skills and innovative thinking.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and stakeholders, maintaining strong interpersonal sensitivity and facilitating reasonable compromises.
  • Serve as a key resource and mentor for less experienced colleagues, providing leadership and technical guidance.
  • Lead small departmental projects when appropriate, ensuring effective application of solutions within the team.
  • Influence customer-facing, operational, and service-related activities through expert-level contributions and business acumen.
  • Perform any other related tasks assigned by the direct Supervisor or Manager
