Position Title: Japanese Bilingual Specialist (Japanese-English)

Language Requirement: Assessed or Certified @ JLPT N1-N2, or Native Japanese proficiency
Job Responsibilities
- Support the implementation and delivery of Japan-based projects.
- Translate documents and communications between Japanese and English as needed.
- Act as a bridge between Japanese clients and non-bilingual team members, ensuring clear and accurate communication.
- Prepare reports and documentation in Japanese and/or English based on project requirements.
- Coordinate project activities and ensure timely execution and delivery.
- Work under general guidance with detailed assignment plans, while exercising independent judgment in task execution.
- Provide suggestions and insights to support team objectives and identify potential follow-on work.
- Maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, diplomacy, and teamwork.
- Welcome coaching and guidance from more experienced peers.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the immediate manager or Japanese point of contact (POC)
Qualifications
- [Preferred but not required] Certified at JLPT N2, N1, or Native-level Japanese proficiency
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Japanese and English.
- Experience in project coordination, translation, or client-facing roles is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work in a shifting schedule and hybrid setup.
- Can be for High school graduates or College undergraduates if with relevant work experience in bilingual support or Japanese-related roles.
