Position/Title: Finance Associate – General Accounting / General Ledger / CPM

Role Purpose

Ensure accurate and timely recording of finance-related data in enterprise systems such as SAP and CPM. Collaborate with business units to validate financial transactions, maintain data integrity, and support project-related financial analysis. Operate with minimal supervision, applying accounting expertise and system knowledge to support business operations and reporting.


Key Accountabilities

Transaction Recording & Validation

  • Record finance-related data in systems like SAP and CPM.
  • Validate entries against source documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain and update recorded transactions as needed.

Business Coordination & Issue Resolution

  • Liaise with relevant business units to resolve concerns related to finance or project data.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of business requests.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Support project P&L analysis and contribute to financial forecasting activities.
  • Assist in month-end closing and other reporting cycles.

Process Adherence & Improvement

  • Follow established accounting procedures and contribute to process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders across teams.
  • Handle multiple projects/accounts and manage workload during peak periods.

Other Duties

  • Perform other tasks relevant to the role as assigned by the supervisor/manager.

Qualifications

Must-Have Skills:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in General Accounting within a Global Shared Services environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or any business-related course
  • Proficient in SAP and CPM systems
  • Strong MS Office skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience in CPM
  • Knowledge in project P&L analysis
  • Ability to work extended hours during month-end and forecasting periods
  • Willingness to work on Philippine holidays
