Role Purpose
Ensure accurate and timely recording of finance-related data in enterprise systems such as SAP and CPM. Collaborate with business units to validate financial transactions, maintain data integrity, and support project-related financial analysis. Operate with minimal supervision, applying accounting expertise and system knowledge to support business operations and reporting.
Key Accountabilities
Transaction Recording & Validation
- Record finance-related data in systems like SAP and CPM.
- Validate entries against source documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain and update recorded transactions as needed.
Business Coordination & Issue Resolution
- Liaise with relevant business units to resolve concerns related to finance or project data.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of business requests.
Reporting & Analysis
- Support project P&L analysis and contribute to financial forecasting activities.
- Assist in month-end closing and other reporting cycles.
Process Adherence & Improvement
- Follow established accounting procedures and contribute to process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
Collaboration & Communication
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders across teams.
- Handle multiple projects/accounts and manage workload during peak periods.
Other Duties
- Perform other tasks relevant to the role as assigned by the supervisor/manager.
Qualifications
Must-Have Skills:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in General Accounting within a Global Shared Services environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or any business-related course
- Proficient in SAP and CPM systems
- Strong MS Office skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience in CPM
- Knowledge in project P&L analysis
- Ability to work extended hours during month-end and forecasting periods
- Willingness to work on Philippine holidays
