Are you an experienced IT Architect with a focus on storage architectures, hybrid IT, and cloud technologies and passionate about helping customers design future-ready IT environments as a trusted advisor? Then we'd love to hear from you!
In this role, you will be responsible for the design, consulting, and evolution of modern storage and data management architectures, supporting customers in transforming their IT infrastructures into hybrid environments.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Designing, consulting on, and continuously improving modern storage architectures for block, file, and object storage solutions across hybrid on-premises and cloud environments
- Analyzing customer requirements and developing tailored storage and data management solutions based on business and technical needs
- Acting as a Trusted Advisor, supporting customers in optimizing and modernizing their IT and storage architectures
- Evaluating storage and IT concepts regarding technical feasibility, compliance with standards, cost efficiency, and long-term sustainability
- Independently creating hardware and software configurations using relevant tools and documenting proposed solutions
- Deriving required services from customer requirements and coordinating with delivery and implementation teams
- Actively generating leads in collaboration with Account Managers and Sales Specialists
- Conducting workshops, customer presentations, and technical sessions for customers, partners, and industry events
Your Profile
We are looking for:
- A degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification
- At least 5 years of professional experience in IT architecture consulting with a focus on storage, data center, and hybrid cloud architectures
- Strong understanding of modern IT infrastructures, IT platforms, cloud computing, and data management solutions
- Solid knowledge of hybrid IT and storage architectures as well as public, private, and community cloud strategies
- Deep understanding of modern architecture concepts such as Software Defined Data Centers (SDDC), container technologies, and open-source strategies
- Experience with common operating systems as well as virtualization, high availability, storage technologies (e.g., Microsoft, VMware), and networking technologies
- Strong customer focus, excellent presentation skills, and a high degree of initiative and reliability
- Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
