Role and Accountabilities:

We are seeking a seasoned ServiceNow Portal & Integrations Developer with over 5 years of hands-on experience to design, develop, and maintain engaging service portal experiences and robust integrations within our ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in ServiceNow's Portal architecture, UI/UX best practices, and various integration methodologies, transforming business requirements into scalable and efficient solutions. This role requires a strong problem-solver who can work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.Candidates will be experienced in leading ServiceNow engagements end to end, 
In addition, the successful candidate(s) will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:
•Providing hands-on ServiceNow related design and development expertise, supporting a range ServiceNow based consulting initiatives.
•  Lead the design, development, and implementation of new Service Portal widgets, pages, themes, and branding.
•  Enhance existing portal functionalities, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience (UX) for end-users, adhering to UI/UX best practices.
•  Utilize advanced JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap to build responsive and dynamic portal components.
•  Implement portal search, knowledge base integration, and user authentication mechanisms.
•  Translate complex business requirements into technical design specifications and implement robust, scalable ServiceNow solutions.
•  Participate in ServiceNow upgrades, ensuring portal and integration functionalities remain intact and optimized.
•  Identify and implement performance improvements for portal load times and integration execution.
•  Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all portal and integration solutions.
•  Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Business Analysts, Administrators, and other Developers, to deliver high-quality solutions.Qualifications

Skills and Experience Requirements:

•  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
•  Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience developing and implementing solutions on the ServiceNow platform, with a strong focus on Service Portal and Integrations.
•  Proven expertise in ServiceNow Service Portal development (widgets, pages, themes, CSS, JavaScript, AngularJS).
•  Extensive experience with various ServiceNow integration methods (REST API, SOAP, Integration Hub (Flow Designer), Scripted REST APIs, JDBC, MID Server).
•  Strong understanding of ServiceNow data model, platform architecture, and security best practices.
•  Proficiency in server-side scripting (JavaScript, Glide Record, Glide Ajax, Script Includes, Business Rules, UI Actions).
•  Experience with client-side scripting (JavaScript, UI Policies, Client Scripts).
•  Advanced proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap.
•  Experience with AngularJS (or other modern JavaScript frameworks like React, Vue.js) is highly desirable.
•  Familiarity with JSON and XML data formats.
•  Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
•  Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Skills and Certifications
•  ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
•  ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
•  ServiceNow Micro-Certifications related to Portal or Integrations (e.g., Integration Hub, Service Portal)
•  Experience with ITIL processes and frameworks.
•  Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
•  Experience with Git or other version control systems.
