Role: EUC Asset Manager
Key Responsibilities
Asset Lifecycle Management
- Own the full lifecycle of EUC assets (laptops, desktops, mobile devices, monitors, peripherals) from procurement through deployment, refresh, redeployment, and disposal
- Maintain accurate asset inventories, ensuring alignment between physical, logical, and financial records
- Define and enforce asset standards, refresh cycles, and disposition processes
Billing & Financial Accountability
- Ensure accurate client billing for all EUC assets and related services
- Reconcile asset inventories against billing systems and contracts on a recurring basis
- Identify and resolve discrepancies, overbilling/underbilling risks, and leakage
- Partner with finance teams on chargeback/showback models
Tooling & Data Management
- Administer and optimize asset management platforms such as Flexera Snow Software
- Leverage Microsoft Azure for asset tracking, integrations, or reporting where applicable
- Build advanced reporting and reconciliation models using Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, macros, data models)
- Ensure data integrity across CMDB, asset repositories, and financial systems
Governance & Compliance
- Establish and maintain asset management policies, procedures, and controls
- Ensure compliance with licensing, contractual, and regulatory requirements
- Support internal/external audits with accurate documentation and reporting
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Work with vendors and procurement teams to track orders, warranties, and contracts
- Collaborate with service desk, field services, and desktop engineering teams to maintain accurate asset states
- Act as the primary point of contact for asset-related escalations and reporting
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to automate asset tracking, reconciliation, and reporting
- Drive process improvements to reduce asset loss, improve utilization, and increase billing accuracy
- Implement best practices aligned with IT asset management frameworks
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience managing EUC assets in an enterprise or managed services environment
- Hands-on expertise with:
- Microsoft Excel (advanced level required)
- Asset Billing and Reporting
- Strong understanding of asset lifecycle management and ITAM principles
- Demonstrated experience owning billing reconciliation and financial accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in managed services or outsourced IT environments
- Familiarity with CMDB and ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow)
- Knowledge of software licensing and hardware asset compliance
- Experience with automation or scripting (PowerShell, Python)
