Job Summary:
The Senior Techo functional Consultant, Oracle SCM and manufacturing technical Lead.
Oracle EBS with a focus on Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Requisition-to-Payment (R2P) tracks, will be responsible for providing expert technical solutions, development, and support for our Oracle E-Business Suite R12 environment. This role requires deep technical proficiency in Oracle EBS modules relevant to O2C and R2P, extensive experience in custom development (AOL Objects, PL/SQL, Forms, Reports, OAF, Workflow), data migration, and third-party integrations. The ideal candidate will translate complex business requirements into robust technical designs and lead the implementation of these solutions, ensuring high performance, scalability, and adherence to best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Solution Design & Development:
- Design, develop, test, and implement highly complex technical solutions for Oracle E-Business Suite R12, specifically within O2C (Order Management, Receivables, Shipping, Inventory) and R2P (Purchasing, Payables, General Ledger, Inventory) cycles.
- Develop and customize Oracle Forms, Reports , BI Publisher, PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, database triggers, API calls, Alerts, and Oracle Workflow and Unix Shell Scripts to meet business requirements.
- Develop and debug concurrent programs, value sets, descriptive flexfields (DFFs), and key flexfields (KFFs).
- Integration Development:
- Design and develop robust integration solutions between Oracle EBS and various internal/external systems using tools and technologies such as PL/SQL, Oracle APIs, Web Services, and potentially middleware platforms (e.g., Oracle SOA Suite).
- Manage and troubleshoot inbound/outbound interfaces.
- Support & Maintenance:
- Provide expert-level technical support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for Oracle EBS applications, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Perform performance tuning of SQL queries, PL/SQL code, and Oracle EBS concurrent programs.
- Conduct root cause analysis for technical issues and implement sustainable corrective actions.
- Technical Leadership & Mentoring:
- Lead technical aspects of projects, including scoping, estimation, design, development, and deployment.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, business analysts, and end-users to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Mentor junior technical consultants and provide guidance on best practices, coding standards, and Oracle EBS technical architecture.
- Contribute to technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and support guides.
- Data Management:
- Develop and execute data migration strategies (conversion, extraction, loading) using tools like SQL*Loader, UTL_FILE, and standard Oracle APIs.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years of hands-on technical experience in Oracle E-Business Suite R12.
- Module Expertise:
- O2C Track: Strong technical experience with Order Management (OM), Accounts Receivables (AR), Shipping (WSH), Inventory (INV), and General Ledger (GL).
- R2P Track: Strong technical experience with Purchasing (PO), Accounts Payables (AP), iProcurement, Inventory (INV), and General Ledger (GL).
- Technical Proficiency:
- Expertise in PL/SQL, SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Oracle Discoverer (if applicable).
- Proficiency in Oracle Workflow Builder & Workflow customizations.
- Experience with AOL (Application Object Library) objects such as Concurrent Programs, Executables, Value Sets, Flexfields.
- Experience with XML Publisher/BI Publisher for report development.
- Working knowledge of Oracle R12 technical architecture and database objects.
- Experience with data conversion/migration techniques using SQL*Loader, APIs, and custom programs.
- Familiarity with integration methods (APIs, Web Services, SOA Gateway).
- Methodologies: Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
