Job Description:

Job summary:
Skilled BI developer / Data Engineer with extensive hands on experience on the listed tools/technologies and is comfortable working across the full data lifecycle - from raw ingestion to reporting and visualization

Key Responsibilities

Data Engineering & ETL/ELT
Must Have:
Strong understanding of Data warehouse concepts
Good knowledge of Data Marts, Data warehousing, Operational Data Store (ODS), OLAP, Data Modelling like Dimensional Data Modelling, Star Schema Modelling, Snow-Flake Modelling, FACT and Dimensions Tables using Analysis Services. 
Extensive development experience in ODI to Extract/Load/Transform data from multiple sources such as Oracle, MS SQL Server,DB2, Legacy systems, Flat Files, JSON and XML Files into ODS and EDW (Enterprise Data Warehouse) systems
Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), including load plan packages, scenarios, and executions
Build and manage Snowflake data layers covering RAW ingestion, Streams, Tasks, Stored Procedures, and Dynamic Tables
Mirror Snowflake databases to Microsoft Fabric and manage Lakehouse/Warehouse configurations
Develop and implement Data Vault models (Hub, Link, Satellite) for scalable, auditable data architecture
Build and optimize SQL/PLSQL transformations, views, packages, and stored procedures in Oracle DB
Develop and manage Kafka-based data ingestion pipelines with a solid understanding of producers and consumers
Integrate data from REST APIs and JSON sources into the data pipeline
Work within the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem for data modelling, reporting, and Lakehouse/Warehouse management
Excellent spoken/written English and communication / documentation skills
Willingness to learn new things at a fast pace
Sincerely adheres to standards published by the client and follows instructions to the TVery good team player with excellent collaboration skills.

DevOps & Collaboration
Use Azure DevOps and Git for source control, pull request (PR) creation and approval, and deployment pipeline management
Perform data validation, testing, and deployment across environments
Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver quality solutions 
Leverage AI tools to improve development productivity and efficiency

Nice to Have:
Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud / EBS
Familiarity with BI Publisher (BIP)
Exposure to advanced Microsoft Fabric features or admin capabilities
Experience with Tableau for dashboard development
Familiarity with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
Experience on Power BI reporting
Experience and or knowledge of Agile Methodology is a plus.
Flexible for working hours as per Offshore/onsite model.
