About the Role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in building and managing on-prem and cloud-native infrastructure to support AI/ML-based network products and O-RAN products and applications. This role requires strong experience in CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, Linux systems, and the deployment of containerized microservices across both on-prem clusters and cloud environments. In addition, the role involves ownership of build and release management, ensuring consistent, secure, and high-quality software delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in enabling scalable, secure, and production-grade platforms for advanced telecom systems. You will work closely with software engineers, data scientists, and system architects to create and maintain highly available, observable, and resilient infrastructure that accelerates the development and deployment of intelligent network solutions. This is a key role at the intersection of DevOps, cloud engineering, intelligent automation, and software lifecycle management, driving innovation in next-generation wireless and O-RAN ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage end-to-end CI/CD/CT pipelines using Jenkins (scripted and declarative).
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure automation using Ansible, Shell scripts, and Infrastructure as Code practices.
  • Administer and optimize Linux-based systems across development, test, and production environments.
  • Containerize applications and manage deployment environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Integrate security scanning tools (BlackDuck, Nessus) and manage CVE analysis/remediation.
  • Define and enforce release processes, versioning strategies, and change control practices.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and field teams to ensure robust delivery pipelines and successful integration/trial activities.
  • Monitor infrastructure, analyze logs, and ensure high system reliability and performance.
  • Contribute to cloud infrastructure design and management using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Support customer integration, lab trials, and field validation of network products.

Required Technical Skills

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and leading end-to-end DevOps solutions for scalable, high-availability product environments, with deep expertise in CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience in Kubernetes cluster management, Helm chart deployments, and advanced cluster troubleshooting, including resolving pod, container, and networking issues.
  • Expertise in Ansible, Python and Shell scripting (e.g., Bash).
  • Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD/CT using Jenkins, including pipeline scripting.
  • Expertise in Linux system administration and command-line operations.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Solid understanding of source control (Git) and artifact management (e.g., Nexus, Artifactory).
  • Knowledge of security scanning and compliance tools and practices.
  • Practical exposure to release management, including version control and deployment strategies.
  • Knowledge of system monitoring tools and log management.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
  • Service Mesh & API Gateways - Experience with Istio or Envoy for managing microservices in Kubernetes
