BCP Manager and Information Security Manager (ISM)

Role Summary

The BCP Manager and Information Security Manager will work in close coordination to strengthen organizational resilience, protect critical information assets, and ensure readiness for business disruptions and security incidents. The BCP Manager will lead business continuity and disaster recovery planning, while as an ISM will own security governance, Risk Management, implement security policies and Info Sec Awareness programs.

Shift – US CST Time zone.

Key Responsibilities

BCP Manager

• Lead the development, maintenance, and periodic review of the Business Continuity Plan and related continuity documentation.
• Conduct business impact analysis (BIA), continuity risk assessments, and recovery strategy reviews.
• Coordinate disaster recovery readiness, continuity testing, tabletop exercises, and post-test remediation.
• Maintain critical process inventories, recovery priorities, dependency mapping, and escalation matrices.
• Coordinate crisis response activities during operational disruptions and major incidents.

Information Security Manager

• Maintenance of ISMS ISO 27001 documentation.
• Support information security governance and ensure continuity requirements are aligned with security controls.
• Coordinate with risk, compliance, IT, and business teams on incident response and security-related disruptions.
• Review security risks that may impact continuity and ensure appropriate mitigation plans are in place.
• Support policy reviews, audit responses, and security awareness initiatives related to continuity and resilience.
• Ensure security incidents are documented, escalated, and closed in line with defined procedures.
• Monitoring security compliance through ongoing security control reviews and risk assessments
• Investigating and analyzing security breaches and, where appropriate, liaison with funding bodies and other stakeholder groups requiring information and reports on security incidents.

Joint Coordination Responsibilities

• Align business continuity, disaster recovery, and information security processes to ensure an integrated response to operational and cyber incidents.
• Coordinate joint testing, cyber recovery exercises, and lessons-learned reviews.
• Maintain a shared tracker for continuity, security, audit, and remediation actions.
• Provide regular reporting on resilience, recovery readiness, and security posture to management.
• Partner with business and IT stakeholders to ensure plans remain current and executable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any stream.
• 12+ years of relevant experience in BCP, DR, Information security, Cyber Security, and or governance roles.
• Strong understanding of security controls, NIST & ISO standards BCP Management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as CISM, CISSP, CBCP, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of security frameworks such as ISO 27001, ISO 22301, NIST, or similar.
• Experience in cyber recovery, ransomware preparedness, and resilience testing.
