| Web Content Developer to design and provide functionality, responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing our web presence across both Drupal and WordPress ecosystems. The ideal candidate is someone who can navigate the complexities of a multi-CMS environment, ensuring high performance, accessibility, and a seamless user experience. Key Responsibilities • Site Development: Build and implement custom themes, templates, and plugins/modules for both WordPress and Drupal environments. • Content Migration: Lead the technical side of content migrations, ensuring data integrity and SEO preservation. • Maintenance & Security: Perform regular core and plugin/module updates, troubleshoot bugs, and implement security best practices to protect site data. • Front-End Optimization: Develop responsive, mobile-first interfaces using HTML5, CSS3 , and JavaScript. • Performance Tuning: Optimize page load speeds and server-side performance for high-traffic sites. • Collaboration: Work closely with user and key IT stakeholders to convert wireframes into functional web pages. Technical Requirements Area Drupal Specifics CMS Core Drupal 9/10, Views, Taxonomy, Configuration Management. General Stack: • Languages: PHP, HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, JavaScript (ES6+), jQuery. • Tools: SharePoint, Excel, MS Word, Jira • Standards: WCAG 2.1 accessibility compliance and SEO best practices. Qualifications & Soft Skills • Experience: 5+ years of professional web development experience specifically within CMS frameworks. • Communication: Good Communication skills. • Adaptability: Comfortable switching gears between Drupal build and WordPress page project. |
