Quantum Computing Evangelist
The Technology Strategy Unit at Fujitsu is looking for a dynamic Quantum Computing Evangelist to lead our outbound engagements across Americas and Europe regions. You will represent Fujitsu at industry conferences, customer engagements, and educate the market on quantum computing and Fujitsu’s leadership position.
Qualifications
- PhD in EE/CS/Physics/Chemistry or a related technical field.
- Deep technical understanding of quantum computing
- Minimum 10 years of experience, including at least 3 years in quantum computing-focused roles.
- Technical communication or consultation experience, with demonstrated success reaching academic, industry, and government audiences.
- Understanding of industry trends, and ecosystem.
- Strong record of excellence in scientific communication and community building demonstrated through teaching, scientific talks, and hosting workshops/hackathons.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to learn and teach new concepts quickly.
- Comfortable working with ambiguity, new technologies, and iterative experimentation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Postdoc (2+ years) in EE/CS/Physics/Chemistry or a related technical field.
- Experience bridging research and commercialization in a tech transfer, lab, or innovation environment.
- Familiarity with technical marketing and popular social media channels used in science.
Travel
- This role will require 50 – 70% travel

It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each situation. The pay range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: specific skills, qualifications, experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. The pay range for this position is estimated at $115,248 to $164,640 USD. Additionally, this role may be eligible for a short-term incentive based on company results and individual performance.
