We are seeking a Quality Engineer III to join our Corporate Quality and Reliability team in Richardson, TX. This role operates with a high degree of autonomy and is responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives, managing subcontractors and vendors, and supporting both internal and external customer needs. The individual will perform reliability analysis, lead subcontractor process audits, and contribute to enhancements in our quality and reliability processes.
The Quality Engineer III will collaborate across multiple functions and business units, monitor and report on product field reliability, and support quality and reliability reporting for all product lines. Key responsibilities include identifying system deficiencies, promoting customer satisfaction, driving issue resolution, and applying analytical methodologies and root cause analysis tools to strengthen processes and vendor performance.
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- Experience in data analysis and customer interfacing
- Ability to manage time and work independently
- Supplier/Subcontractor management associated with 1Finity manufactured products including process audits and driving improvements
- Support existing deployed products while monitoring quality and help drive issue resolution and continuous improvements
- Use of analytic tools and methods for identification of problem areas and help drive timely resolutions
- Perform data analysis and maintain key KPIs while helping drive customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with business teams to identify and report issues and final resolution status to key stakeholders including preparation and effective delivery of key points, issues and next steps
- Able to communicate effectively with customers (internal and external)
- Attend/lead required departmental and project meetings
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree a plus)
- 3 - 8 years of experience
- Proficient in Excel using formulas and other functions.
- Excellent time management skills
- Able to work independently and remotely as required
- Ability to take complex datasets and identify issues and next steps/action for issue resolution
- Proven ability to contribute in a collaborative environment
- Use of data analytics for issue resolution
- Lead discussions and provide insight into practical solutions to problems with associated Business Unit
- Experience with customer interfacing related to tracking and reporting trends resulting in data analysis
- Experience in delivering effective presentations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each situation. The pay range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: specific skills, qualifications, experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. The pay range for this position is estimated at $86,884 to $124,120 USD. Additionally, this role may be eligible for a short-term incentive based on company results and individual performance.
