Job Title: IFS Functional Consultant
Location: Onsite/Remote (depending on employer)

Role Overview:
The IFS Functional Consultant plays a key role in implementing, configuring, and supporting IFS Applications to align with client business processes. This role involves working closely with clients, solution architects, and technical consultants to deliver tailored ERP solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementation & Configuration:
- Lead or support IFS ERP implementations, upgrades, and re-implementations.
- Configure IFS modules based on business requirements.
- Align IFS applications with customer business processes.
- Client Engagement:
- Conduct workshops to gather and document business requirements.
- Advise clients on solution design and best practices.
- Provide post-go-live support and training.
- Documentation & Analysis:
- Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Solution Design Documents (SDD).
- Develop test scenarios, configuration documentation, and user training materials.
- Collaboration:
- Work with cross-functional teams including technical consultants and project managers.
- Participate in Change Advisory Boards (CAB) and release management activities.
- Quality Assurance:
- Ensure solutions are simple, scalable, and customer-focused.
- Identify and manage CRIM (Customizations, Reports, Interfaces, Modifications).
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 5–7+ years of experience with IFS Applications (Service & Maintenance, Supply Chain, Finance, etc.).
Supply Chain Management:
- Procurement: P2P cycle, Procurement- Basic Data Setup, Purchase Authorization Setup, Purchase Flow Setup and Debugging.
- Sales/Distribution: Customer Order Cycle, Sales Basic Data/Flow Setup.
- Inventory/Warehouse: Inventory Planning, MRP(Material Resource Planning) Inventory Part catalogue, Inventory/Stock Transfers, Warehouse Setup and Basic Data Management.
- Project Management: Projects, Sub-Projects, Activities and Connections, Project Time Registration.
- HR Module: Employee Master Data Setup, Position id and Graphical Position Structure.
- Proven ERP project experience (implementation or improvement projects).
- Technical & Functional Skills:
- Strong understanding of IFS modules and configuration.
- Ability to map business processes to IFS functionality.
- Familiarity with ITIL practices and release/change management.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and in teams.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, Engineering, or related field.
- IFS certifications are a plus.
