Role and Accountabilities:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented ServiceNow Developer with strong expertise in the Security Operations (SecOps) suite, particularly Security Incident Response (SIR) and Vulnerability Response (VR) modules. The ideal candidate will be responsible for hands-on development, customization, and integration of SecOps modules to enhance our organization's cybersecurity capabilities. This role requires hands-on expertise in ServiceNow configuration, scripting, and integration, with a deep understanding of security processes and tools.

In addition, the successful candidate(s) will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:
1. Design, develop, and deploy custom ServiceNow applications using scoped applications and platform best practices
2. Lead development using server-side and client-side scripting (Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies)
3. Architect reusable components, subflows, and integrations using Flow Designer and Integration Hub
4. Develop and maintain Scripted REST APIs and integrate ServiceNow with external systems using REST/SOAP, OAuth 2.0, and MID Server
5. Build modern user experiences using UI Builder, Workspaces, and the Now Experience Framework
6. Implement secure access using roles, ACLs, and application scoping
7. Optimize performance through efficient GlideRecord usage, indexing, and query tuning
8. Lead code reviews, enforce development standards.
9. Collaborate with product owners, architects, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
10. Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and root-cause analysis in production environments
11. Ensure compliance with enterprise governance, security, and data-privacy standards
Skills and Experience Requirements:
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript(6+years) (ES5/ES6)
• Expert-level experience with: GlideRecord, GlideSystem, GlideAggregate
• Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts
• UI Actions, Catalog Scripts
• Extensive experience with Flow Designer, Subflows, and Integration Hub
• Strong experience building REST/SOAP integrations and Scripted REST APIs
• Solid understanding of: Application scopes, Roles & ACL scripting
• CMDB fundamentals and CSDM
• Experience with UI Builder, Workspaces, and Service Portal
• Knowledge of Import Sets, Transform Maps, and data modeling
• CSA & CAD certified. ITSM certification is preferred.
