Role and Accountabilities:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated ServiceNow Senior Developer with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in the ServiceNow platform, particularly within ITSM and ITAM modules, coupled with a strong understanding of ITIL processes. This role requires a proactive individual who can lead technical initiatives, design robust solutions, and effectively communicate complex concepts to various stakeholders.
The technical lead will provide hands-on ServiceNow related design and development expertise, supporting a range of ServiceNow based consulting initiatives.
• Lead the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices.
• Develop and configure ServiceNow applications, modules, and integrations using JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting.
• Utilize Flow Designer and IntegrationHub to create automated workflows and integrate ServiceNow with external systems.
• Design and implement Service Catalog items, request fulfillment processes, and associated workflows.
• Configure and maintain ACLs and security settings to ensure data integrity and compliance.
• Leverage a strong understanding of the ServiceNow data model, including HAM/SAM concepts, to build efficient and scalable solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Integrate ServiceNow ITSM with CMDB/ITOM, ITAM (HAM/SAM), and various monitoring and event management tools.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership for end-to-end ITAM lifecycle management, spanning software procurement, deployment, reclamation, optimization, and full hardware asset lifecycle from stockroom to retirement.
• Configure and support SAM solutions covering software modeling, entitlement and license metrics, normalization and reconciliation, and compliance.
• Provide technical leadership in discussions, code reviews, and technical design sessions.
• Support and maintain enterprise-scale ServiceNow environments, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.
• Contribute to the development of Fujitsu IP solutions in ServiceNow.
• Coach and advise other Developers.
Qualifications
Skills and Experience Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of ServiceNow design and development experience
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and extensive experience with ServiceNow scripting.
• Extensive experience with: Flow Designer, IntegrationHub ,Service Catalog and Request Fulfillment ,ACLs and security configuration
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow data model and HAM/SAM concepts.
• Solid understanding of ITIL-aligned ITSM processes.
• Experience integrating ITSM with: CMDB / ITOM, ITAM (HAM/SAM), Monitoring and event management tools
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale ServiceNow environments.
• Proven experience in a technical lead or senior developer role.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Skills and Certifications
• ServiceNow Certifications such as: Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Implementation Specialist – ITSM, ITAM (HAM or SAM) (preferred), Certified Application Developer (CAD)
• ITIL Foundation or higher certification.
• Experience in multi-instance or global ServiceNow environments.
• Experience in ITOM and ITAM.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong presentation development and Customer Presentation skills
• Successful teamwork experience & demonstrated leadership abilities.
