HRSD DEVELOPER | IMPLEMENTATION | JAVASCRIPT DEVELOPMENT

Description:

The candidate will play the role of a ServiceNow Developer on the ServiceNow Platform Team within the organization of Schneider Electric. This position requires the candidate to be an expert in ServiceNow development principles that enables them to collaborate within a team. The candidate should be able to receive requirements and develop using ServiceNow best practices. The candidate will join an existing team to continue the expansion of ServiceNow throughout the Schneider Landscape. The candidate will primarily focus on the following ServiceNow Modules: HRSD, HR Enterprise Lifecycle Management, and ESC Service Portal. 
Responsibilities:
•    Receive, Document, and Develop requirements for the HR Lifecycle event & HR Transitions project 
•    Follow architecture governance structures, methodologies, and compliance activities to maintain regulatory compliance with enterprise ServiceNow standards
•    Provide technical guidance, perform peer code reviews, and ensure software development best-practices are used to develop and fulfill requirements
•    Take part in scrum development activities for complex requirements & project activities
•    Take part in issue resolution within ServiceNow Modules used at Schneider Electric
•    Create/maintain API & data integration processes between ServiceNow and other services
•    Work with Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) and Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) technologies in conjunction with ServiceNow
•    Collaborate with ServiceNow Support concerning issues and other technical aspects of the ServiceNow platform
 Skills and Experience Requirements: 
•    Minimum of 5 years of ServiceNow development experience (Implementation/integration, enhancement and production level design and development support). 
•    Experience developing ServiceNow solutions and technical design documents from business requirements specifically in HRSD.
•    At least two full lifecycle ServiceNow implementations in the role of a Sr. Developer / Developer. 
•    Experience as ServiceNow Developer / Technical Consultant on an enterprise level, or large implementation projects. 
•    Programming expertise in Java, JavaScript, HTML, XML 
•    Must be technically savvy and able to design and build applications that meet business goals and objectives 
•    Demonstrated understanding of ITIL practices 
•    Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience. 
Certifications:
 
•    Certified ServiceNow Administrator
•    ServiceNow Developer Certified (preferred)
•    ServiceNow CIS - HRSD (preferred)
 

Education & Work Experience:
•    Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
•    Experience within different modules within ServiceNow; i.e… ITSM, HRSD & Service Portal Development
•    2+ years of hands-on development experience on ServiceNow platform overall
•    1+ years of hands-on development & configuration on the ServiceNow Service Portal
•    Should have worked on at least 1 end to end implementation of a ServiceNow module
