Role and Accountabilities:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ServiceNow Developer with a deep understanding of Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes. In this critical role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, configuring, and maintaining robust and scalable solutions on the ServiceNow platform that optimize our procurement, invoicing, and payment workflows. You will work closely with Business Process Consultants, Solution Architects, and various business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into technical realities, ensuring the stability, performance, and usability of our S2P applications within ServiceNow.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and implement custom applications, modules, and integrations within the ServiceNow platform, specifically focusing on S2P capabilities (e.g., Procurement Service Management, Vendor Risk Management).
• Configure and customize ServiceNow features including workflows, UI Policies, Business Rules, Client Scripts, ACLs, Script Includes, Service Portals, and Agent Workspace.
• Develop and maintain integrations with external systems (e.g., ERP systems like SAP/Oracle, financial platforms, vendor portals) using various methods such as REST APIs, SOAP, MID Server, and IntegrationHub.
• Create and manage update sets, ensuring proper deployment and version control practices.
• Collaborate with Business Process Consultants and Solution Architects to understand S2P business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and viable ServiceNow solutions.
• Provide technical expertise and recommendations on platform best practices, performance optimization, and scalability for S2P implementations.
• Participate in technical design reviews, identifying potential risks and proposing mitigation strategies.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) for all S2P-related developments.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, providing timely resolution and root cause analysis for Incidents and Problems related to S2P applications.
• Maintain and update technical documentation for all developed solutions.
• Stay current with new ServiceNow releases, features, and roadmaps, recommending and implementing platform enhancements relevant to S2P.
• Design and implement data imports, transformations, and data models to ensure data integrity and system performance.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects to translate high-level designs into detailed technical specifications and implementation plans.
• Adhere to ServiceNow best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines throughout the development lifecycle.
• Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to solution architecture.
• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including configuration guides, development specifications, and integration documentation.
• Participate in knowledge transfer sessions with support teams and end-users.
• Develop custom scripts, workflows, and integrations using ServiceNow technologies
• Prepare technical documentation, solution designs, and implementation guides.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers or team members.
• Ensure solutions meet security, risk, and compliance standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer or Technical Consultant.
• Experience implementing and configuring Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes on the ServiceNow platform modules.
• Procurement Service Management (PSM) module implementation and customization.
• Experience with ServiceNow Vendor Onboarding and Management workflows.
• Experience with ServiceNow Contract Management within ServiceNow.
• Experience with ServiceNow Invoice processing and integration.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with ERP or financial systems for S2P data.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and GlideRecord/GlideAjax.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Familiarity with ITSM, ITBM, or other ServiceNow modules is a plus.
• Experience working in agile development methodologies.
• Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting, workflow design, and integrations.
• Experience with enterprise-level ServiceNow implementations and upgrades.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and change leadership skills.
