Job Description:
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced ERP Technical Program Manager to lead and manage large-scale ERP programs, including implementations, upgrades, integrations, digital transformation initiatives, and custom application development. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in ERP technologies, proven program management expertise, and the ability to drive cross-functional teams across business and technology domains.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end planning, execution, governance, and successful delivery of complex ERP programs and transformation initiatives.
Manage ERP implementations, upgrades, migrations, integrations, and application modernization projects.
Coordinate with business stakeholders, solution architects, technical teams, vendors, and offshore/global delivery centers to ensure successful program execution.
Drive program governance, risk management, issue resolution, resource planning, and stakeholder communication.
Oversee technical design reviews, integration strategies, development activities, testing cycles, and production deployments.
Ensure alignment between business objectives and ERP technology solutions.
Support test strategy, test planning, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), cutover planning, and post-go-live stabilization activities.
Monitor program milestones, budgets, dependencies, and deliverables across multiple workstreams.
Lead cross-functional teams spanning technical, functional, infrastructure, integration, and business domains.
Establish and enforce best practices related to SDLC, quality assurance, release management, and project governance.
Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of experience working with enterprise ERP platforms (Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Workday, Infor, or similar), with at least 5 years in Program Management or Project Management roles.
Strong technical understanding of ERP architecture, custom development, integrations, reporting, and data migration frameworks.
Experience managing large-scale ERP implementation, upgrade, cloud migration, or transformation programs.
Knowledge of ERP functional areas such as Finance, Supply Chain Management (SCM), Human Capital Management (HCM), Manufacturing, Projects, or Procurement.
Hands-on understanding of enterprise integration technologies, APIs, middleware, ETL tools, and reporting platforms.
Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies.
Experience working with global delivery models and coordinating distributed/onshore-offshore teams.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple workstreams, priorities, and executive-level communications.
Preferred Qualifications
PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, SAFe, or equivalent project/program management certification.
ERP platform certifications (Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Workday, Infor, etc.).
Experience with cloud platforms and integration tools such as Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), SAP CPI, Informatica, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or similar.
Experience in regulated industries such as Healthcare, Financial Services, Manufacturing, Pharmaceuticals, or Retail.
Familiarity with cloud transformation, data governance, and enterprise architecture practices.
