SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Senior Functional Consultant (8–10 Years Experience)


Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) Consultant with 8–10 years of expertise to join our SAP HXM team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience implementing, configuring, and supporting the Employee Central module, including working on at least 2–3 full lifecycle projects.

This role requires in-depth expertise in Role-Based Permissions (RBP), People Analytics (Story Reports), and integration with downstream modules and external systems via Integration Center. The position involves working with global clients across multiple time zones and requires flexibility to work in rotational shifts, including USA night shifts.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end implementation, configuration, and support of the SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) module.
  • Configure foundational EC components including Foundation Objects, Employee Data Models, Business Rules, Workflows, and Event Reasons.
  • Set up Position Management, Global Benefits, and Advanced Workflows based on client requirements.
  • Manage and design Role-Based Permissions (RBP) frameworks to ensure secure access control across user roles and data levels.
  • Create and manage People Analytics Story Reports and dashboards to monitor workforce data such as headcount, attrition, organizational changes, and compliance metrics.
  • Support data migration activities, data loads, and validation using templates and tools such as the Import Employee Data feature.
  • Configure and manage Integration Center for EC-to-EC module data flows and integrations with third-party systems.
  • Collaborate with HR and IT stakeholders to define business requirements and translate them into system configurations and best practices.
  • Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution across EC and integrated modules.
  • Provide training, documentation, and post-go-live support to business users and system administrators.
  • Stay current on SAP SuccessFactors EC release updates, new features, and best practices.

Technical Skills Required:

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central:

  • Strong hands-on experience in data model configuration, Foundation Objects, Position Management, Workflows, and Business Rules.
  • Experience configuring Global Benefits and Advanced Reporting features.
  • Deep understanding of employment lifecycle processes (hire-to-retire), job information, and organizational management.
  • Knowledge of data migration tools and templates for EC Go-Lives and cutovers.
  • Proficiency in Integration Center for automating and managing data imports/exports between modules and external systems.

Role-Based Permissions (RBP):

  • Expertise in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting RBP frameworks for secure access management.
  • Ability to set up target population, permission groups, and role-based configurations aligned with client data governance.

People Analytics (Story Reports):

  • Hands-on experience creating and managing Story Reports and dashboards using SAP SuccessFactors People Analytics.
  • Ability to build custom reports to analyze headcount, turnover, position changes, and compliance KPIs.
  • Experience in data visualization and performance optimization within People Analytics.

Integration & Other Skills:

  • Experience integrating Employee Central with other SuccessFactors modules (Recruiting, Onboarding, Compensation, etc.) and external HR/payroll systems.
  • Familiarity with Provisioning, Admin Center, and Data Retention Management.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and client-facing communication skills.
  • Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies.

Good to Have:

  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Certification.
  • Experience with multi-country EC implementations and global data models.
  • Familiarity with compliance and GDPR-related data management.
  • Knowledge of Onboarding 2.0, Compensation, or Time Tracking modules.

Shift Requirement & Allowance:

🚨 USA Shifts – Mandatory
USA Night Shift: 11:30 PM IST to 9:00 AM IST

 


Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Certification.
  • Proven track record of 2–3 full lifecycle EC implementations.
  • Experience with global HR process standardization and integration.
  • Strong knowledge of RBP, People Analytics, and Integration Center.
