Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP SuccessFactors Succession & Career Development Planning Consultant with 5-8 years of expertise to join our SAP HXM team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience configuring and implementing the Succession & Career Development Planning (SCP) module, combined with solid understanding of Role-Based Permissions (RBP) and People Analytics (Story Reports). This role requires supporting global clients across multiple time zones, necessitating flexibility to work in rotational shifts, including USA night shifts.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end implementation, configuration, and support of the SAP SuccessFactors Succession & Career Development Planning module.
  • Design and configure talent pools, succession org charts, development plans, competency mapping, and calibration processes.
  • Collaborate with HR and business leaders to define succession criteria, talent review frameworks, and career pathing strategies.
  • Customize Career Development Planning templates and workflows to align with organizational talent management goals.
  • Develop and manage Role-Based Permissions (RBP) to control secure access for talent data across various user roles and hierarchies.
  • Create and maintain People Analytics reports including Story Reports to provide actionable insights on succession readiness, talent gaps, and career development trends.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system configuration issues, provide user training, and develop documentation.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams for integration with Employee Central, Performance & Goals, and Learning modules.
  • Keep abreast of the latest SAP SuccessFactors updates and best practices for SCP.

Technical Skills Required:

SAP SuccessFactors Succession & Career Development Planning (SCP):

  • Strong hands-on experience configuring Talent Pools, Succession Org Charts, Career Worksheets, and Development Plans.
  • Expertise in configuring Succession Data Models, Succession Routing and Talent Review workflow.
  • Ability to set up Competency Libraries and Career Path Frameworks.
  • Experience with Calibration and Talent Review sessions within SCP.
  • Knowledge of integration points with Performance & Goals, Employee Central, and Learning modules.

Role-Based Permissions (RBP):

  • Proficient in designing and managing RBP roles to safeguard sensitive talent data in SCP.
  • Experience configuring access to talent pools, succession planning data, and career development plans for different user roles.

People Analytics:

  • Proficiency in creating Story Reports and dashboards that visualize talent pools, succession readiness, and development progress.
  • Ability to design interactive and user-friendly People Analytics reports tailored to leadership needs.

Additional Skills:

  • Familiarity with SuccessFactors Admin Center and Provisioning.
  • Experience with data imports and management for Succession and Career Development Planning data.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging with HR stakeholders and end users.
  • Experience working in Agile and Waterfall implementation methodologies.

Good to Have:

  • Knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors Performance & Goals (PMGM) module or Employee Central (EC).
  • Understanding of integration points and talent processes related to PMGM or EC to provide holistic talent management solutions.

🚨 USA Shifts – MandatoryUSA Night Shift: 11:30 PM IST to 9:00 AM IST

 


Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP SuccessFactors Succession & Career Development Planning Certification.
  • Experience with multi-country/global succession planning deployments.
  • Familiarity with compliance and data privacy regulations like GDPR.
  • Exposure to integration with Employee Central and Performance & Goals modules.
