Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Performance & Goals Consultant with 5–8 years of professional experience to join our SAP HXM team. The ideal candidate will have strong functional and technical expertise in the Performance & Goals (PMGM) module, along with working knowledge of RBP (Role-Based Permissions) and People Analytics (Story Reports). The consultant will support global clients across various time zones and must be open to working in rotational shifts, including USA night shifts.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end implementations and support for SAP SuccessFactors Performance & Goals (PMGM) module.
  • Configure performance forms, goal plans, competencies, route maps, rating scales, and workflows based on business needs.
  • Assist clients with goal library creation, continuous performance management setup, and calibration processes.
  • Analyze business requirements and design performance processes aligned with organizational talent strategy.
  • Design and manage Role-Based Permissions (RBP) to support secure and scalable access across the PMGM module.
  • Create and manage People Analytics reports (including Story Reports) to deliver insights on goal achievement, performance ratings, and talent trends.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams for seamless integration with other modules like Employee Central, Compensation, and Learning.
  • Provide expert-level support, issue resolution, documentation, and user training.
  • Stay updated with SAP SuccessFactors quarterly releases and suggest adoption of new features.

Technical Skills Required:

SAP SuccessFactors Performance & Goals (PMGM):

  • Extensive experience in configuring:
    • Performance Forms
    • Goal Plans
    • Competency Libraries
    • Route Maps & Workflows
    • Rating Scales
    • Calibration Templates
  • Knowledge of Continuous Performance Management (CPM) and Goal Execution.
  • Familiarity with integration touchpoints with Compensation, Employee Central, and Learning modules.

Role-Based Permissions (RBP):

  • Strong expertise in configuring and managing RBP roles and groups for Performance & Goals access and workflows.
  • Experience in securing manager, HR, employee, and executive views of PMGM processes.

People Analytics:

  • Hands-on experience with Story Reports and other reporting tools to create performance dashboards, goal progress summaries, and executive scorecards.
  • Ability to translate HR and business requirements into meaningful KPIs and analytics.

Additional Skills:

  • Knowledge of SuccessFactors Admin Center and Provisioning tools.
  • Experience with data imports (Goal Plan Template, Performance Form Launch, etc.) using data loaders.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience with Agile and/or Waterfall implementation methodologies.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, global environment.

Shift Requirement & Allowance:

🚨 USA Shifts – Mandatory
USA Night Shift: 11:30 PM IST to 9:00 AM IST


Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP SuccessFactors Performance & Goals Certification.
  • Experience in global rollouts and working with diverse performance management frameworks.
  • Familiarity with compliance requirements and data privacy (e.g., GDPR).
  • Exposure to integration with Compensation, Employee Central, and Calibration modules.
