Job Title: SAP CO - Senior Functional Consultant- 9201

Shift: 2:00PM-11:00PM

Locations: Pune, Bangalore, Chennai, Noida, Hyderabad

Role Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled SAP Product Costing (CO-PC) Consultant with a strong understanding of manufacturing business processes. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the design, configuration, and optimization of our SAP CO-PC functionalities, ensuring accurate and insightful product cost reporting for our diverse manufacturing operations. You will work closely with finance, production, and IT teams, translating business requirements into effective SAP solutions and contributing to continuous process improvement independently

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • SAP CO-PC Configuration & Support: Analyze, design, configure, and maintain SAP CO-PC functionalities, including Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Internal Orders (IO), Product Cost Planning (PCP), Cost Object Controlling (COC), and Material Ledger (ML) integration, specifically tailored for manufacturing scenarios.
  • Business Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with finance, production, and supply chain stakeholders to gather and document business requirements related to product costing in a manufacturing environment.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimization within SAP CO-PC to enhance costing accuracy and efficiency for manufactured goods.
  • Testing & Documentation: Perform comprehensive system testing, identify and resolve defects, and create detailed functional specifications, test scripts, and end-user documentation.
  • Integration: Ensure seamless integration of CO-PC with other key manufacturing-centric modules such as Production Planning (PP), Materials Management (MM), Sales & Distribution (SD), and Financial Accounting (FI).
  • Training & Mentorship: Provide guidance and training to end-users on SAP CO-PC processes and best practices.
  • Troubleshooting: Address and resolve production support issues, contributing to a stable and reliable SAP costing environment.
  • Project Participation: Actively participate in SAP implementation, enhancement, or upgrade projects, potentially including S/4HANA initiatives.
  • RICEF: Worked in Various RICEF Objects in SAP-CO-PC area

 

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 7-9 years of hands-on experience as an SAP CO-PC Consultant involved in at least one full lifecycle implementation Project and 2 Production Support Project
  • Demonstrated experience in a manufacturing industry context, understanding concepts like Bills of Material (BOMs), Routings, production orders, process orders, and their impact on product costing.
  • Solid functional expertise in SAP ECC with strong knowledge of:
  • Product Cost Planning (PCP): Costing Sheets, Costing Variants, Valuation Variants, Costing Run.
  • Cost Object Controlling (COC): Actual Costing for Production Orders/Process Orders/WBS Elements.
  • Material Ledger (ML): Experience with actual costing, parallel valuation, and multi-currency costing is highly desirable.
  • Integration points with FI, MM, PP, and SD.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team.

 

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Haves):

  • Direct experience with SAP-Finance and Controlling other area (G/L, AR, AP, FA etc.)
  • SAP Certification in CO-PC or S/4HANA Management Accounting.
  • Experience with reporting tools like SAP BW
  • Auto Industry Experience
