Key Responsibilities

 

Microsoft Security Solutions

  • Architect and guide implementation of Microsoft Defender XDR, Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Identity, Defender for Cloud, Defender for Office 365, and Defender Vulnerability Management.
  • Design Microsoft Sentinel SIEM and SOAR solutions, including data onboarding, analytics, automation, workbooks, threat hunting, and incident workflows.
  • Design identity security using Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, MFA, Identity Protection, Privileged Identity Management, and identity governance capabilities.
  • Design data security and compliance solutions using Microsoft Purview, Information Protection, Data Loss Prevention, and compliance capabilities.
  • Design endpoint and device security capabilities using Microsoft Intune and associated security baselines.
  • Define integrations across Microsoft security services, Azure, on-premises platforms, third-party security technologies, and IT service management platforms.

 

Security Architecture and Consulting

  • Lead cybersecurity architecture assessments, advisory engagements, and transformation programs.
  • Design enterprise security architectures aligned with Zero Trust principles and customer business objectives.
  • Develop high-level designs, low-level designs, reference architectures, security roadmaps, and implementation patterns.
  • Assess customer security posture and translate security gaps into clear business and technology risks.
  • Design identity, endpoint, cloud, network, data protection, and security operations capabilities.
  • Advise technical and executive stakeholders on cyber strategy, governance, risk, and compliance.
  • Align recommendations with relevant frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, and customer regulatory obligations.

Pre-Sales and Business Development

  • Support account and sales teams in customer pursuits and strategic opportunities.
  • Lead discovery sessions, technical workshops, architecture reviews, and solution demonstrations.
  • Develop Statements of Work, proposals, solution designs, assumptions, dependencies, effort estimates, and delivery approaches.
  • Present proposed architectures and business outcomes to technical and executive audiences.
  • Identify opportunities for advisory, implementation, optimization, and recurring managed security services.

Delivery Leadership

  • Provide architectural leadership from discovery through design, implementation, transition, and operational acceptance.
  • Govern solution quality and confirm that delivery remains aligned with approved architecture and customer requirements.
  • Manage technical risks, architectural decisions, assumptions, dependencies, and design exceptions.
  • Review customer implementations and recommend improvements that increase security value and reduce risk.
  • Mentor consultants, engineers, and junior architects, and contribute to practice capability development.

Service Innovation and Thought Leadership

  • Create reusable reference architectures, delivery accelerators, templates, workshops, and technical enablement materials.
  • Contribute field insight to Fujitsu cybersecurity service development and continuous improvement.
  • Produce whitepapers, blogs, webinars, executive briefings, and other thought-leadership content.
  • Stay current with Microsoft security, cloud infrastructure, AI security, regulatory developments, and industry good practice.

Required Skills and Experience

Technical Expertise

Identity and Access Management: Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, MFA, Identity Protection, PIM/PAM, identity governance, SSO, and federation.

Security Operations: Microsoft Sentinel, SIEM, SOAR, threat hunting, detection engineering, incident response, security monitoring, and analytics.

Microsoft Defender Suite: Defender XDR, Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Identity, Defender for Cloud, Defender for Office 365, and vulnerability management.

Cloud and Platform Security: Microsoft Azure security, CSPM, workload protection, hybrid security architecture, and integration with third-party platforms.

Data Security and Compliance: Microsoft Purview, Information Protection, DLP, data governance, and compliance management.

Architecture and Risk: Security principles, enterprise architecture, threat modelling, risk management, control design, and security governance.

Professional Experience

Mandatory

  • 10+ years of cybersecurity experience.
  • 5+ years of Microsoft security architecture or engineering experience.
  • Demonstrated experience designing enterprise security architectures and leading customer-facing consulting engagements.
  • Experience developing SOWs, proposals, solution designs, delivery estimates, and technical presentations.
  • Ability to communicate security gaps and associated business risks to executives.
  • Strong consulting, problem-solving, facilitation, documentation, organization, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, lead multidisciplinary teams, and deliver high-quality outcomes on time and within agreed scope.
  • Flexibility to support customers remotely and on-site; travel may be required based on engagement needs.

Preferred

  • Experience in MSSP, MDR, SOC transformation, security advisory, cloud transformation, or global delivery environments.
  • Exposure to OT/IoT security, AI security, enterprise architecture, and security service development.
  • Working knowledge of AWS, Google Cloud, VMware, and hybrid infrastructure security.
  • Experience collaborating with Microsoft sellers, partner teams, and customer technical stakeholders.

Certifications

Required or Expected

  • Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert (SC-100), or willingness to achieve an agreed Microsoft security certification within six months of joining.
  • One or more role-aligned Microsoft certifications such as SC-200, SC-300, AZ-500, or equivalent.

Preferred

  • CISSP, CCSP, CISM, CRISC, SABSA, TOGAF, or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Postgraduate qualification in cybersecurity, technology, or business is advantageous.
