Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Team Lead for our HRSS project who will play a key role in driving service excellence and team performance. The ideal candidate will have strong bilingual skills in English and Japanese (JLPT N2 or higher), proven leadership experience, and a background in HR processes. This role requires a proactive professional who can ensure seamless client communication, foster team growth, and deliver exceptional HR services. 

 
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of HRSS professionals to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Act as the primary liaison for client communication, managing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Use Japanese language proficiency to enable smooth communication with Japanese-speaking clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and enhance service quality.
  • Track and monitor team performance metrics, implementing strategies to achieve productivity and quality goals.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices to strengthen service offerings. 

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in Japanese language-related roles.
  • JLPT N2 certification (or higher) is mandatory.
  • Strong communication skills in both English and Japanese, with the ability to interact effectively across cultures.
  • Proven leadership or supervisory experience, demonstrating strong people management skills. 
  • Knowledge of HR processes, systems, or shared services is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment while maintaining high quality standards.
