Job Title:  Manager – HR Delivery, Japan HRSS.

Location: Pune, India

Language Proficency: Min JLPT N3 or above

Reporting: The role will report to the HR Director, HR Delivery, Global HRSS.

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to lead our HR Shared Services team supporting Japan operations and is based out of India. This pivotal role will be instrumental in enhancing HR service delivery, driving operational excellence, and fostering strategic collaboration with Fujitsu Japan HR stakeholders. The successful candidate will possess exceptional leadership capabilities, a strong track record in client relationship management, and a proven ability to implement continuous improvements in a global HR shared services environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Client Relationship Management:
    • Serve as the primary liaison for Fujitsu Japan HR team and stakeholders.
    • Develop and sustain robust, trust-based relationships, ensuring alignment with client expectations and strategic objectives.
  • Advanced Service Delivery & Performance Optimization:
    • Lead HR service delivery for a team of 25+ Japanese bilingual professionals, and growing, ensuring high-quality service and operational excellence.
    • Implement advanced performance monitoring systems to ensure SLA adherence and conduct strategic service reviews.
  • Leadership & Talent Development:
    • Inspire and mentor team members, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
    • Design and execute strategic development plans to enhance team capabilities and drive high performance.
  • Process Innovation & Resource Management:
    • Spearhead process optimization initiatives to align with global standards and organizational policies.
    • Strategically manage workforce planning, resource allocation, and utilization to maximize efficiency.
  • Financial Governance & Strategic Budget Management:
    • Oversee comprehensive financial governance for projects, including Purchase Orders (POs), Statements of Work (SOWs), and budgets.
    • Ensure cost efficiency and optimal resource utilization, aligning financial strategies with business objectives.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 12+ years of HR experience, with at least 5+ years in a senior managerial role within shared services/global HR.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and client engagement skills.
  • Extensive experience working with Japanese clients/stakeholders; proficiency in Japanese language is must (Min N3 or above)
  • In-depth knowledge of HR service delivery models, process governance, and SLA management.
  • Proven expertise in strategic financial governance (budgeting, POs, SOWs).
  • Outstanding leadership, coaching, and mentoring capabilities.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.
