INTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS COSULTANT                                                                                      

 

Job Title: Internal Communications Consultant     

Reports To: People Partner (Head of HR), India    

Line of Business:

 

 

Purpose of Role:

 

Main purpose of Communication consultant role is to ensure that GDC internal communication programs are implemented in line with budgets and overall organization policies.

 

 

Key activities:

 

  • Building India communications calendar aligned with global GD communication strategy and business objectives
  • Actively plans and implements communication campaigns and events to support Employee Experience initiatives.
  • Support with communicating about various company initiatives, transformation efforts, people development actions and others, from communication standpoint
  • Coordinates teams of lines of business representatives, including virtual teams, for their own area of responsibility to deliver communication strategy objectives.
  • Has impact and influence on the wider organization being a key point of contact for communication actions in GDC India
  • Focus on continuous improvements on taken actions
  • Implement internal communication programs in conjugation with related areas of the organization to ensure desired outcomes within budgets and organizational policies.
  • Create internal communications and initiatives that will foster employee engagement on agreed approach.
  • Ensure timely delivery of key objectives as defined in the Communication Strategy
  • Identify and reacts on ad hoc communication needs and adjust it to the overall communication policy.

 

Professional Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of communications area
  • Knowledge about business environment and trends in the company
  • Strong project management skills
  • Savvy in building relationship with third parties and internal clients (such are Recruitment, HR Senior management, GDC Leadership Team etc.)
  • Creativity and proactive attitude to be able to establish short and long term communication goals
  • A bachelor's degree in corporate communication area OR experience bringing well-grounded knowledge about mentioned fields of expertise
  • Microsoft Office fluency
  • Fluent in English
