Product Line Manager (PLM) – AI Networking & Disaggregated Infrastructure
Overview
The Product Line Manager (PLM) – AI Networking & Disaggregated Infrastructure is responsible for defining and driving 1FINITY’s strategy for next-generation networking solutions across three strategic domains:
• Service Provider Routing
• Data Center Networking
• AI Networking Infrastructure
This role leads the strategy, roadmap, product requirements, launch, and market adoption for software-defined and disaggregated networking solutions supporting hyperscalers, neo-clouds, service providers, and enterprise AI environments.
The position will drive alignment and readiness of 1FINITY’s Arrcus-based networking portfolio, focusing on scalable routing architectures, AI fabric networking, EVPN VXLAN-based data center fabrics, SRv6 service architectures, and automation-driven operational models. The role will help expand 1FINITY’s portfolio beyond optical transport into software-defined routing, AI infrastructure networking, and modern IP fabric architectures.
This role serves as a strategic leader driving 1FINITY’s expansion into software-defined routing, cloud-scale data center networking, and AI networking infrastructure through the company’s partnership with Arrcus and broader disaggregated networking initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
• Define product strategy, multi-release roadmap, and prioritization for AI networking and disaggregated infrastructure solutions aligned to hyperscaler, neo-cloud, enterprise AI, and service provider operational requirements.
• Own product requirements (PRDs), including problem statements, use cases, success metrics, customer outcomes, feature prioritization, and business alignment.
• Define routing solution strategy for service provider and cloud environments leveraging SRv6, modern IP routing architectures, traffic engineering, multi-domain networking, and scalable edge/core infrastructure models.
• Drive data center networking architectures leveraging EVPN VXLAN overlays, leaf-spine fabrics, automation-driven operations, and scalable cloud networking design principles.
• Define AI networking infrastructure solutions supporting scale-out Ethernet fabrics, GPU cluster interconnectivity, low-latency transport, and distributed AI infrastructure environments.
• Define solution direction for converged IP and optical networking architectures supporting DCI, AI workload mobility, distributed inference, and high-capacity backbone infrastructure.
• Drive reference architectures and solution strategies leveraging SRv6, modern routing frameworks, and scalable multi-domain networking models across data center, WAN, edge, and AI infrastructure environments.
• Establish automation-driven operational frameworks leveraging APIs, streaming telemetry, observability, intent-based workflows, and repeatable deployment architectures to simplify operations and accelerate customer adoption at scale.
• Partner with Engineering to define scope, priorities, trade-offs, and delivery plans with measurable milestones, customer outcomes, and acceptance criteria.
• Lead technical and market alignment of Arrcus-based solutions within the 1FINITY portfolio, including software-defined routing, AI networking fabrics, disaggregated NOS architectures, and multi-domain networking use cases spanning data center, WAN, edge, and AI infrastructure environments.
• Engage directly with Tier 1 and Tier 2 service providers, hyperscalers, neo-clouds, and strategic enterprise customers to validate roadmap direction, align solution strategy, gather operational requirements, and support executive-level technical engagements.
• Support highly technical customer discussions, architectural workshops, executive presentations, and strategic solution engagements related to service provider routing, data center networking, AI networking infrastructure, SRv6, EVPN VXLAN, and Arrcus-based networking solutions.
• Serve as escalation point for strategic pursuits where roadmap clarity, competitive differentiation, architectural guidance, and Arrcus-based solution readiness are critical to customer success.
• Partner with Sales and Marketing to develop positioning, competitive differentiation, customer-facing collateral, executive presentations, RFP/RFI responses, and go-to-market messaging for AI networking and software-defined infrastructure solutions.
• Deliver internal enablement for Sales and Systems Engineering teams focused on AI networking architectures, SRv6, EVPN VXLAN, disaggregated infrastructure, automation frameworks, and customer value narratives.
• Support business case development, commercial packaging recommendations, ecosystem alignment, and pricing strategy inputs to ensure scalable and profitable growth.
• Define and track KPIs including adoption, pipeline influence, customer conversion, competitive displacement, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction to guide ongoing roadmap and investment decisions.
• Collaborate across Product Support, Delivery, and Customer Success organizations to ensure field feedback is translated into actionable roadmap improvements, operational enhancements, and release quality initiatives.
