We are seeking an experienced Immigration Attorney for our in-house Legal Department’s Immigration Group in Pittsburgh, PA. 

 

 

This position will be working in our Pittsburgh, PA office. 

 

Responsibilities:

 

The incumbent will report directly to, and work closely with, the Director of the Immigration Group to ensure that the company’s business immigration requirements are effectively met, including the timely filing of all associated employment-based applications and petitions.  This position is critical to helping Fujitsu sustain a world-class global immigration ethics and compliance program and requires the candidate to work from Fujitsu’s Pittsburgh, PA office.  

 

Candidates should be business-minded, service-focused, and self-motivated immigration attorneys with preferably a minimum of seven to ten years of quality employment-based immigration law experience.

 

The successful candidate will possess excellent writing, organizational, and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to work with various functional teams and build strong working relationships with all levels of company management.

 

Key responsibilities include the daily drafting and timely filing of U.S. employment-based submissions, including those involving H-1B, L, and TN classification, as well as immigrant matters (PERM, I-140, I-485, and associated applications).  The incumbent will also be required to supervise various global and outbound matters, as well as assist in managing a small team of experienced immigration paralegals.   

 

Requirements, Education and Experience:

                                                                                                                                             

Candidates must possess:

  • JD Degree from an accredited institution and a license to practice law in at least one state; 
  • 6-10 years of quality law firm or in-house employment-based immigration law experience preferred (immigration experience serving the technology industry also preferred);
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills;
  • The ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects;
  • A detail-oriented, results-focused, and conscientious work ethic;
  • A demonstrated service-focused business orientation and ability to establish credibility as an attorney and business partner with cross-functional perspective; 
  • Uncompromising integrity and a positive, collaborative, and proactive attitude; and
  • Proficiency with Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
