About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Oracle Fusion Manufacturing Cloud Lead Consultant to join our growing practice. In this client-facing role, you will lead end-to-end implementations of Oracle Cloud Manufacturing solutions, serving as the primary functional subject matter expert for our clients across discrete manufacturing industries — including Industrial Manufacturing and, ideally, Automotive Tier 1. You will work closely with client stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to deliver high-quality, scalable manufacturing solutions — with a particular emphasis on Lean manufacturing principles, Kanban-driven replenishment, and, ideally, Heijunka (production leveling) processes — that drive measurable operational outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Implementation & Delivery
• Lead full lifecycle implementations of Oracle Fusion Manufacturing Cloud modules — including Discrete Manufacturing, Lean Manufacturing (Kanban), Work Execution, and Production Scheduling
• Conduct current-state assessments, business process workshops, and fit-gap analyses with client stakeholders across manufacturing operations, industrial engineering, supply chain, and IT functions
• Design and configure Oracle Manufacturing Cloud solutions aligned to client business requirements, industry best practices, and discrete manufacturing processes (Automotive, Industrial Equipment, High-Tech, or similar)
• Configure and deploy Kanban replenishment processes — including Kanban setups, pull sequences, card management, signal types (electronic vs. physical), and integration with inventory and production work orders
• Design & configuration of Heijunka (production leveling) concepts within Oracle manufacturing and scheduling frameworks, aligning production sequences with leveled demand signals
• Develop and review functional design documents, configuration workbooks, test scripts, and training materials
• Oversee System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), data migration validation, and cutover planning activities
• Manage hyper-care and post-go-live support, ensuring a smooth transition to production operations
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
• Act as a trusted advisor to client manufacturing, operations, industrial engineering, and IT leadership teams
• Facilitate executive-level workshops and working sessions to align manufacturing strategy, Lean transformation goals, and Oracle solution capabilities
• Proactively identify risks, issues, and scope changes, and communicate them clearly with recommended mitigation strategies
• Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships that drive repeat engagements and referrals
Team Leadership & Practice Development
• Mentor and guide junior and mid-level consultants on Oracle Manufacturing Cloud functional best practices, Lean manufacturing configuration, and client engagement skills
• Contribute to proposal development, solution design, and pre-sales activities including RFP responses and client presentations
• Support practice development efforts including creation of accelerators, reusable assets, and methodology documentation
• Stay current on Oracle Cloud quarterly release updates and assess their impact on existing client manufacturing solutions

Required Qualifications
Oracle Functional Expertise
• 10+ years of hands-on Oracle Manufacturing implementation experience, with a minimum of 5+ years in Oracle Fusion Manufacturing Cloud
• Deep, proven expertise in Oracle Discrete Manufacturing Cloud — including Work Orders, Work Order types, Work Definitions, Resources, Work Centers, Operations, and Work Execution (shop floor transactions)
• Deep, proven expertise in Oracle Lean Manufacturing / Kanban — including Kanban setup, pull sequences, replenishment signal types (electronic, physical, two-bin), Kanban card management, and integration with Inventory and Production
• Strong working knowledge of Oracle Item Master and Product Data Hub (PDH) — including item attributes, item organizations, make/buy attributes, lead times, and their impact on manufacturing behavior
• Strong understanding of Oracle BOM (EBOM/MBOM) and Routings — including BOM structures, component substitutions, phantom assemblies, operation sequences, resource requirements, and their role in work order execution
• Solid understanding of Oracle Cloud data flows across SCM modules (Inventory, Procurement, PLM/PDH, Order Management) and their integration with Manufacturing Cloud
Lean Manufacturing & Kanban Expertise
• Strong, hands-on understanding of Kanban methodology — including signal-based pull systems, supermarket replenishment, two-bin systems, and electronic Kanban (eKanban) workflows, and how these are configured and operationalized within Oracle Manufacturing Cloud
• Exposure to Heijunka (production leveling) principles — including demand smoothing, mixed-model sequencing, and pitch-based scheduling — and experience mapping these concepts into Oracle scheduling and production planning configurations
• Broad familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles (Value Stream Mapping, 5S, JIT, Takt Time, Continuous Flow) and ability to translate these into Oracle solution design decisions
• Ability to assess a client's current manufacturing execution state and recommend an Oracle-supported Lean transformation roadmap
Industry Experience
• Demonstrated experience implementing Oracle EBS (e.g., Oracle Discrete Manufacturing, WIP, BOM) or Oracle Fusion Manufacturing Cloud solutions for clients in discrete manufacturing industries such as Industrial Manufacturing, Industrial Equipment, Automotive Tier 1, High-Tech, or similar complex make-to-order/make-to-stock environments
• Working knowledge of manufacturing operations processes including shop floor execution, production scheduling, capacity management, quality inspections, material backflushing, and scrap/rework handling in complex, multi-site environments
• Familiarity with industry manufacturing best practices and operational frameworks (e.g., APICS/ASCM, Lean/Six Sigma, Toyota Production System principles)
Technical & Analytical Skills
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting functional design documents, data mapping specifications, and system configuration guides
• Experience with Oracle integration tools and middleware concepts (e.g., FBDI, REST/SOAP APIs, Oracle Integration Cloud, IoT Production Monitoring) as they relate to Manufacturing Cloud implementations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to translate complex manufacturing requirements into scalable Oracle configurations

Preferred Qualifications
• Prior experience implementing Oracle EBS or Oracle Cloud Manufacturing solutions for Automotive Tier 1 manufacturers — including familiarity with IATF 16949, production part approval processes (PPAP), OEM-driven scheduling requirements, and high-mix/high-volume shop floor environments
• Experience implementing or advising on Heijunka board concepts within Oracle or complementary MES/scheduling tools in a production environment
• Experience with Oracle Manufacturing Execution (IoT Production Monitoring Cloud) for shop floor visibility and OEE tracking
• Exposure to Oracle Quality Management Cloud — including inspection plans, nonconformance, and CAPA workflows integrated with shop floor execution
• Familiarity with Oracle Supply Chain Planning Cloud (Supply Planning or S&OP Cloud) and how manufacturing execution data feeds upstream planning processes
• Oracle Cloud Manufacturing or SCM certification(s)
• Familiarity with Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) or OTBI for manufacturing operations reporting
________________________________________
Professional Skills
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills — able to engage confidently with both executive sponsors and shop floor operational teams
• Ability to speak the language of both Lean/manufacturing operations practitioners and Oracle IT/functional configuration teams
• Strong facilitation skills with the ability to drive consensus in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
• Self-directed with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and priorities simultaneously
• Collaborative mindset with a desire to share knowledge and elevate team capabilities

Education
• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
• Master's degree or MBA preferred
• Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt) is a strong plus
