About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Oracle Fusion Inventory & Costing Cloud Lead Consultant to join our growing practice. In this senior client-facing role, you will lead end-to-end implementations of Oracle Inventory Management Cloud and Cost Management Cloud solutions, serving as the primary functional subject matter expert for clients across discrete manufacturing industries — including Industrial Manufacturing and, ideally, Automotive Tier 1 suppliers. You will work closely with operations, finance, supply chain, and IT stakeholders to deliver scalable, best-practice inventory and costing solutions that provide real-time visibility into material flows, accurate product costing, and tightly controlled financial inventory valuations across complex, multi-organization manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities
Implementation & Delivery
• Lead full lifecycle implementations of Oracle Fusion Inventory Management Cloud and Cost Management Cloud modules — including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, training, and go-live support
• Conduct current-state assessments and business process workshops covering inventory organization structures, costing methods, material flows, cycle counting, and financial reconciliation processes
• Design and configure Oracle Inventory Management Cloud — including inventory organizations, subinventories, locators, item master, unit of measure classes, inventory transactions, material workbench, and interorganization transfers
• Configure Oracle Cost Management Cloud — including cost organization setup, cost book definitions, valuation structures, cost profiles, standard costing, actual costing, and landed cost management
• Implement costing processes including cost rollup, cost update, pending cost scenarios, cost comparison reporting, and period-end cost processing and inventory valuation reconciliation
• Configure lot and serial number tracking — including lot genealogy, expiration date management, serial number generation, and lot/serial transaction history for traceability requirements
• Configure cycle counting and physical inventory processes — including count schedules, count classes, ABC classification, count sequence generation, adjustment approvals, and reconciliation with General Ledger
• Design and implement interorganization transfer processes — including direct transfers, in-transit transfers, transfer orders, and associated accounting entries
• Develop and review functional design documents, configuration workbooks, test scripts, data migration templates, and end-user training materials
• Oversee System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), data conversion validation, and cutover planning activities
• Manage hypercare and post-go-live support to ensure successful adoption and stabilization
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
• Act as a trusted advisor to client operations, supply chain, finance, and IT leadership teams
• Bridge the gap between supply chain operations and finance by aligning inventory transaction flows with accurate cost accounting and financial reporting requirements
• Facilitate working sessions and executive workshops to align inventory strategy, costing methodology, and Oracle solution capabilities
• Proactively identify risks, scope changes, and integration dependencies, and communicate them with clear mitigation recommendations
• Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships that support continued growth and engagement
Team Leadership & Practice Development
• Mentor and guide junior and mid-level consultants on Oracle Inventory and Costing functional best practices, configuration techniques, and client delivery skills
• Contribute to pre-sales activities including RFP responses, solution demonstrations, and client presentations
• Support practice development through creation of reusable accelerators, configuration templates, and methodology documentation specific to Oracle Inventory and Cost Management
• Stay current on Oracle Cloud quarterly release updates relevant to Inventory and Costing, and assess their impact on active client environments

Required Qualifications
Oracle Functional Expertise
Inventory Management Cloud
• Deep, hands-on expertise in Oracle Inventory Management Cloud — including inventory organization setup, subinventory and locator structures, item master configuration, unit of measure (UOM) classes and conversions, and inventory transaction types (receipts, issues, transfers, adjustments, miscellaneous transactions)
• Strong understanding of material workbench and inventory transaction processing — including pending transactions, transaction corrections, transaction history, and on-hand quantity management across multiple organizations
• Proven expertise in lot control and serial number tracking — including lot attributes, lot expiration, lot genealogy tracing, serial number generation rules, and lot/serial transaction history to support quality, traceability, and regulatory compliance requirements
• Strong experience in interorganization transfers and transfer orders — including direct and in-transit transfers, shipping networks, transfer order creation and execution, and associated accounting flows
• Experience configuring min-max planning, reorder point planning, and replenishment requests within Inventory and their integration with Procurement and Manufacturing
• Deep understanding of cycle counting and physical inventory processes — including ABC classification, count class assignment, count schedules, approval thresholds, and inventory adjustment accounting integration with Oracle Financials
Cost Management Cloud
• Deep, proven expertise in Oracle Cost Management Cloud — including cost organization structures, cost books, valuation units, cost profiles, and the relationship between inventory organizations and cost organizations in a multi-org environment
• Strong expertise in Standard Costing — including cost component setup, resource and overhead rates, cost rollup processes, pending vs. frozen costs, and standard cost variance analysis (purchase price variance, manufacturing variance, usage variance)
• Strong expertise in Actual Costing (AVCO/FIFO) — including perpetual average cost updates, FIFO layer management, actual cost processing, and reconciliation of inventory value to the General Ledger
• Experience configuring and managing cost rollup and cost update processes — including BOM-based cost explosion, routing cost absorption, overhead allocation, and period-end cost finalization
• Solid understanding of Landed Cost Management — including landed cost templates, charge names, cost factors, allocation methods (quantity, weight, volume, value), and their impact on purchase order receipt valuation
• Strong experience with inventory accounting and period-end close processes — including cost accounting distributions, perpetual and periodic costing reconciliation, inventory valuation reports, and integration with Oracle Subledger Accounting (SLA) and General Ledger
• Familiarity with cost reporting and analysis — including cost breakdown, cost comparison, margin analysis, and item cost history reporting using OTBI or Oracle Cost Management reporting tools
Broader Oracle SCM & Finance Integration Knowledge
• Strong working knowledge of Oracle Item Master and Product Data Hub (PDH) — including item costing attributes, make/buy attributes, cost-enabled flags, UOM, and their downstream impact on cost rollup and inventory valuation

• Understanding of Oracle Procurement Cloud and Receiving — including PO matched receipts, receipt accounting, accrual clearing, and their impact on inventory cost layers and landed cost
• Solid understanding of Oracle Cloud data flows and accounting entries across SCM and Finance modules (Inventory, Manufacturing, Procurement, Subledger Accounting, General Ledger) and end-to-end reconciliation checkpoints
Industry Experience
