  • Position Title:           On-site Technician
  • Employment Type:   Permanent Full Time

  • Salary Range:           Base Salary 75,000 – 85,000

 

The key duties and main responsibilities of the role are as follows:

  • Support Management by ensuring all devices are monitored in line with contracts and SLAs.
  • Support end users, monitors and resolves incidents, and may roll out enhancements or new products/equipment in accordance with Account Plan.
  • Defines support criteria for infrastructure design, guides support teams, and uses technical expertise to resolve complex problems.
  • Analysing and assessing systems, data, and documentation while planning and carrying out quality audit inspections.
  • Planning and performing quality audit inspections while analysing and evaluating systems, data, and documentation.
  • Provides technical leadership and innovative ideas to improve fault diagnosis and process.
  • Implements technical designs to meet service delivery requirements within own area of responsibility.
  • Monitors performance against Service Level and acts as an escalation point for TSS1 and TSS2.
  • Analysing and assessing systems, data, and documentation while organising and carrying out quality audit inspections.
  • Repair and replacement of peripheral devices such as desktops, laptops, printers, and modems.
  • Providing periodic reports as directed by Manager in support of analysis Event and Capacity Management functions.
  • Conducting technical assessments and providing consultation with customers and colleagues as required.
  • Investigating, analysing, and diagnosing technical issues and issues related to desktops, software, hardware, printers, the Internet, email, databases, operating systems, and security systems, as well as installing, maintaining, repairing, upgrading, configuring, and troubleshooting these issues
  • Creating and reviewing technical documentation, including procedural, instructional, and operational guidelines and manuals
