Role Summary
Lead end-to-end integration delivery and service operations across on-prem and cloud (iPaaS) web Methods stacks. Own architecture, design, development, migration, and operational excellence for B2B and enterprise integrations. Drive stakeholder alignment, quality, risk management, and project governance to deliver scalable, secure, and resilient integration services.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Delivery
Architect, design, develop, and migrate B2B and enterprise applications using web Methods (onprem & cloud iPaaS).
Own implementations across API Gateway/Portal, Integration, and B2B (Trading Networks).
Lead development of EDI and industry‑standard messages: ANSI X12, UN/EDIFACT, Chem XML, ebXML, papiNet, FlatFiles.
Implement and govern SOAP/REST web services; build integrations using UM/Broker and adapters (e.g., JDBC, JMS, SAP, MQ).
Configure and administer web Methods modules (IS, TN, Broker, MWS), including ports, adapter connections, clustering, Broker & Territories.
Manage on-prem components: Integration Server, Designer, Deployer, Broker, MWS, Adapters, Trading Networks; ensure CI/CD, versioning, and environment consistency.
Lead cloud iPaaS enablement, best practices, multi‑env governance, and security (auth, OAuth/JWT, policies, throttling, monitoring).
Ensure performance tuning, capacity planning, and reliability (HA/DR, failover, backups).
Service Management & Operations
Establish and run L2/L3 support, incident/problem/change management, and SLAs.
Create operational runbooks, monitoring dashboards, and observability (logs, traces, metrics).
Drive root‑cause analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement across integration services.
Govern access, compliance, and audit readiness (controls, documentation, evidence).
Project & Stakeholder Management
Plan, execute, and deliver projects within scope, timeline, and budget.
Manage stakeholders (business, IT, vendors) with clear, consistent communication.
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues; maintain risk registers and escalation paths.
Coordinate cross‑functional teams and optimize resource utilization.
Track progress, milestones, and KPIs; publish status reports and dashboards to leadership.
Manage budgets, forecasts, and cost controls; drive value realization.
Handle scope changes via structured change control and impact analysis.
Apply appropriate PM methodologies (Agile/Hybrid/Waterfall) and tools; lead ceremonies and governance.
Demonstrate strong leadership, decision‑making, and problem‑solving skills.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Technical Skills
12–15 years hands‑on experience with webMethods on‑prem and webMethods Cloud iPaaS (API Gateway/Portal, Integration, B2B).
Deep expertise across Integration Server, Designer, Deployer, Broker, MWS, Adapters, Trading Networks.
Proven development of EDI ANSI X12, UN/EDIFACT, ChemXML, ebXML, papiNet, FlatFiles.
Strong experience implementing SOAP/REST, UM/Broker messaging, and adapters (JDBC, JMS, SAP, MQ).
Proficient in configuring web Methods modules (IS, TN, Broker), ports, adapter connections, clustering, Broker & Territories.
Experience across Windows and Unix/Linux operating systems.
Extensive use of tools: Postman, SOAP UI, REST clients, Notepad++, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint.
Project/Service Management
End-to-end delivery ownership for integration projects and managed services.
Risk, issue, and change management; stakeholder communication and governance.
Budgeting, forecasting, and cost control; performance measurement with actionable KPIs.
Quality assurance, compliance to organizational processes, and audit readiness.
Soft Skills

Education & Certifications
Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Software AG web Methods certifications (Integration Server, B2B/Trading Networks, API Gateway).
PM certifications (PMP/PRINCE2) and/or Agile (CSM/SAFe) are a plus.
ITIL Foundation for service management preferred.
