Job Description: Senior Architect & Technical Lead – Microsoft 365 & Collaboration Solutions

Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Architect & Technical Lead to lead the design, delivery, and ongoing operations of Microsoft 365 and collaboration solutions for a global customer environment. This role will encompass strategic architecture, technical leadership, and operational management across Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Copilot, and integrated meeting room solutions (Logitech, Poly, Polycom, Microsoft Teams Rooms devices).

The successful candidate will lead the M365 BAU (Business-As-Usual) team, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations, while also driving new M365 projects to enable digital transformation and enhance collaboration experiences worldwide.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Architecture & Strategy
  • Define and implement enterprise-scale architectures for Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Copilot).
  • Develop governance frameworks, security models, and compliance strategies aligned with global standards.
  • Provide thought leadership on collaboration technologies and future roadmap planning.

 

Technical Leadership

  • Lead deployment and lifecycle management of Teams Meeting Room solutions across Logitech, Poly, Polycom, and Microsoft-certified devices.
  • Oversee integration of messaging, collaboration, and identity/security solutions (Azure AD, Conditional Access, MFA).
  • Drive automation, monitoring, and proactive support practices to ensure service reliability.

 

Operational Excellence

  • Lead the M365 BAU team, ensuring high availability, performance, and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage escalations, incident response, and continuous service improvement.
  • Establish KPIs and reporting mechanisms for operational health.

 

Project Delivery

  • Support and lead new M365 projects, including migrations, upgrades, and feature rollouts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within scope.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, translating business requirements into technical solutions.

 

Leadership & Mentorship

  • Mentor and guide technical teams, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Build strong relationships with global stakeholders and customers.
  • Champion best practices and knowledge sharing across teams.

 

Required Technical Expertise

  • Deep expertise in Microsoft 365 ecosystem: Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Copilot.
  • Strong experience in Teams administration and Teams Rooms solutions (Logitech, Poly, Polycom, Microsoft devices).
  • Proven track record in global-scale deployments and customer support leadership.
  • Familiarity with identity and security integration (Azure AD, Conditional Access, MFA).
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting, automation, and monitoring tools.

 

Certifications (Preferred/Required)

  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert
  • Microsoft Teams Administrator Associate / Expert
  • Microsoft Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate
  • Microsoft Teams Rooms Solutions Expert
  • Additional certifications in Azure, Security, or Collaboration tools are a plus.
