Position Overview: Wayfinders Managing Consultant – Physical AI
Managing Consultants are senior delivery leaders and system owners responsible for end-to-end solution architecture, engineering rigor, and client success on individual Physical AI engagements. Physical AI describes systems that perceive the physical world (sensors, cameras, connectivity), reason about it (AI/ML, simulation, digital twins), and act on it (robotics, automation) — think computer vision-guided quality inspection, predictive maintenance from sensor telemetry, or a digital twin that simulates a warehouse before automation goes live.
You'll own architecture and delivery for a single complex engagement at a time, working hands-on across the stack without necessarily being the primary engineer.

Client & Team Leadership
- Act as trusted advisor to client stakeholders on your engagement
- Lead and mentor Senior Consultants and Consultants
- Contribute to proposals and reusable IP
Required Skills & Experience
Experience & Education
- 4–7 years in consulting or equivalent industry roles, with proven ownership of end-to-end physical AI, automation, or intelligent operations solutions — spanning perception, modeling, and execution
