Job Description : Microsoft Teams Operations Engineer

Responsible for day-to-day operations, monitoring, and support of Microsoft Teams. The role focuses on Teams automation, provisioning, governance enforcement, licensing, and recovery to ensure service stability and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor Teams service health, automation workflows, alerts, and logs

Manage automated Teams provisioning, lifecycle, and Town Hall workflows

Troubleshoot automation failures and perform recovery actions

Enforce Teams governance (naming, ownership, channels, security)

Perform operational maintenance, including request queues and certificate renewals

Manage Teams Premium licensing and usage reporting

Support data recovery, inventory, audits, and user requests

Maintain SOPs and improve operational efficiency

Requirements:

5–7 years of IT operations or collaboration platform support experience

Strong hands-on Microsoft Teams administration experience

Experience with Teams/M365 Admin Center, automation, monitoring and governance

Strong troubleshooting and communication skills

MS-700 or MS-102 certification preferred
