Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Teams Subject Matter Expert (SME) specializing in Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) and modern workplace collaboration solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in Microsoft Teams Rooms design, deployment, administration, and troubleshooting, along with hands-on experience delivering enterprise meeting room projects.
The candidate will serve as the technical lead for Microsoft Teams Rooms initiatives, providing architectural guidance, operational support, and best practices for enterprise collaboration environments.
Required Certifications
Microsoft Certified: Managing Microsoft Teams (MS-700) (Preferred)
Microsoft Certified: Collaboration Communications Systems Engineer (MS-721) (Preferred)
Key Responsibilities
Design, deploy, configure, and manage Microsoft Teams Rooms solutions.
Lead end-to-end Microsoft Teams Rooms implementation and migration projects.
Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Microsoft Teams Rooms technologies.
Perform technical assessments and recommend optimal meeting room solutions based on business requirements.
Configure and support Teams Rooms on Windows and Android devices.
Manage Teams Rooms through Microsoft Teams Admin Center and Microsoft 365 Admin Center.
Troubleshoot complex meeting room issues involving audio, video, conferencing, device connectivity, and Teams integration.
Collaborate with network, security, workplace, and AV teams to ensure seamless meeting room experiences.
Plan room refresh, hardware lifecycle management, firmware upgrades, and software updates.
Develop operational standards, documentation, and support procedures.
Provide technical guidance to L2/L3 support teams and mentor junior engineers.
Participate in architecture reviews and technology roadmap discussions for Microsoft collaboration services.

Experience diagnosing and resolving issues related to:

Desired Experience
5+ years of Microsoft Teams administration experience.
3+ years of hands-on Microsoft Teams Rooms implementation and support.
Experience supporting global enterprise collaboration environments.
Experience working with Microsoft FastTrack, system integrators, or AV partners is desirable.
Familiarity with ITIL-based service management processes.
