The Manager of Deployment Engineering is a first-line people manager within the Engineering Services Delivery organization. This role leads a team spanning Network Engineering, Field Integration, Inside Plant (ISP), and Outside Plant (OSP) disciplines. The manager is responsible for resource scheduling, workforce utilization tracking, reporting and improvement, technical escalation management, and ensuring the team is ready to support new service introductions. A successful manager will work to develop new engineering service offerings and support business development efforts and quoting.

Day-to-day responsibilities include managing resource schedules, fulfilling and communicating resource requests from Project Managers, and resolving scheduling conflicts. This role also serves as the primary escalation point for team-level issues and partners with internal stakeholders to ensure engineering readiness ahead of new service or program launches. As needed, the recruitment of external resources or external service companies may be required.

Candidates should bring 5+ years of experience in a telecommunications or network services environment, 2+ years of people management or supervisory experience, and working knowledge of at least one engineering discipline on the team. Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools required; familiarity with resource scheduling tools and Asana is a plus.

 

As we are looking for a remote position, the disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. 1Finity aligns salaries to the specific geographic location in which the work is primarily performed. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each situation. The pay range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: specific skills, qualifications, experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. The pay range for this position is estimated at$112,000 to $179,200 USD. Additionally, this role may be eligible for a short-term incentive based on company results and individual performance.​
