About the role

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Test Analyst / Specialist to join a major Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) transformation program to support our customer.

You will be part of the Vendor Testing team and be responsible for validating a mission-critical, highly integrated system in a fast-paced delivery environment.

This is a hands-on testing role across project phases in a high-change environment, validating complex functions, working closely with delivery teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality outcomes.

This role offers hybrid working and will be working from customer office or Fujitsu office.

Location: Docklands / Melbourne SE suburbs

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft and execute test cases in alignment with requirements and design
  • Identify, document, and classify observations and defects in the test management tool clearly
  • Participate in defect triage sessions
  • Contribute to test reporting and input into status updates
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, business stakeholders
  • Peer review of test artefacts
  • Work closely and collaborate with the Customer testing team as required.
  • Follow established test governance processes, including test readiness reviews and sign-off procedures.

Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have strong experience across the following technologies and practices:

  • Proven experience in system/integration testing within large-scale delivery programs
  • Understanding of integrated platforms on transformation programs
  • Strong understanding of testing processes and defect lifecycle
  • Experience working in fast-paced, complex environments with multiple vendors
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
  • Ability to analyse requirements and produce clear testing artefacts
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with tools such as JIRA, Value Edge, or similar

Desirable Experience

  • Experience in emergency services or mission-critical systems (e.g., CAD, dispatch, public safety)
  • Familiarity with Confluence, JIRA, Value Edge (VE)
  • Understanding of non-functional testing
  • ISQTB certified or equivalent
