In Iberia (Spain and Portugal), we are building the practice from the ground up, with Data & AI at its core and an initial focus on Banking & Insurance, Energy & Utilities and the Public Sector. We connect strategy, technology and execution end-to-end, from the first diagnosis through to production.
Your role will involve:
As Manager / Senior Manager for Agentic AI Architecture, you’ll be the technical reference of the practice in agentic AI. You’ll design the solutions we propose to clients, support our leaders in the sales process and lead the technical side of our programmes until they run in production.
Reporting to a Director or Associate Partner (as appropriate), you’ll combine deep hands-on expertise with client leadership: shaping solutions, supporting business development and leading delivery teams through to measurable results.
As an expert in your field, you’ll help shape how Uvance Wayfinders delivers, bringing fresh perspectives and creating reusable assets for the practice.
As a Manager / Senior Manager, you will be responsible for:
Business development support
- Shaping the technical solution and architecture in proposals, RFPs and client presentations.
- Taking part in client meetings as the technical lead, building credibility with CIOs, CTOs and architecture teams.
- Identifying new opportunities during delivery and turning them into proposals.
Client delivery & leadership
- Designing end-to-end, enterprise-grade architectures for agentic AI, generative AI and multi-agent systems.
- Acting as Technical Lead with clients, translating business needs into architecture decisions.
- Taking solutions from proof of concept to production, with LLMOps/AgentOps, CI/CD, observability, evaluation and cost control.
- Integrating agents with APIs, enterprise applications, databases, data platforms and legacy systems.
- Building scalable, secure and observable multi-agent patterns and reusable components for the practice.
- Embedding AI governance, security, guardrails, identity and access management and agent monitoring into every design.
- Owning the end-to-end solution architecture and engineering rigour of AI systems, ensuring they are designed, built, deployed and governed to run reliably in production.
- Applying MLOps and LLMOps practices: evaluation, monitoring, drift detection and lifecycle management.
- Guiding teams on trade-offs between rules-based systems, machine learning, LLMs and hybrid approaches.
- Building value cases and facilitating workshops with client stakeholders to frame problems, align on priorities and shape engagement outcomes.
- Building and maintaining trusted relationships with client stakeholders, ensuring high satisfaction and repeat business.
Practice development
- Contributing to the Agentic AI offering, including methodologies, accelerators, reusable assets and thought leadership.
- Leading and coaching consultants, providing direction and quality assurance over team performance and deliverables.
- Working with Uvance Wayfinders colleagues across Europe and with the teams already present in client accounts.
- Helping build a culture of collaboration, continuous learning and hands-on excellence.
Your transferable skills and experience:
- Several years of experience designing and delivering generative AI and agent-based solutions into production, with a clearly hands-on technical profile.
- Deep knowledge of LLMs, AI agents, multi-agent orchestration, tool/function calling, memory, context management and RAG.
- Hands-on experience with agent frameworks such as LangGraph, LangChain, CrewAI or Microsoft Agent Framework (formerly Semantic Kernel and AutoGen), and with integration protocols such as MCP.
- AI architectures on Azure, AWS and/or Google Cloud, including their managed generative AI services.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams and complex technology programmes.
- Hands-on understanding of modern data and AI architectures: cloud data platforms and pipelines, machine learning, LLM-based solutions (prompting, RAG, agents), orchestration and monitoring.
- Experience taking AI systems into production and managing their operational risks: performance, drift, reliability and security.
- Demonstrated ability to build value cases (complex value cases at Senior Manager level) and to facilitate workshops with senior stakeholders.
- University degree in a technical or quantitative field preferred.
- Fluent Spanish and professional English; Portuguese is a plus.
Nice to have:
- Experience with sovereign AI or on-premises deployment of models.
- Experience with AI cost engineering: model selection, token optimisation and caching.
- Contributions to the community: open source, publications or talks.
- Market presence through teaching, speaking or publications.
