Position: SAP SuccessFactors Compensation & Variable Pay Consultant
Experience: 5–10+ Years
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Compensation & Variable Pay Implementations
- Design, configure, test, and deploy SAP SuccessFactors Compensation and Variable Pay solutions aligned with client business requirements.
- Compensation Planning Configuration
- Configure compensation templates, eligibility rules, budget calculations, guidelines, salary ranges, lump-sum awards, and approval workflows.
- Variable Pay Design & Administration
- Configure Variable Pay plans including business goals, individual objectives, bonus calculations, payout curves, proration rules, and bonus forecasting.
- Integration & Data Management
- Collaborate with EC (Employee Central), Payroll, and third-party system teams to ensure accurate employee, compensation, and performance data integration.
- Testing & Quality Assurance
- Develop and execute unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and defect resolution activities.
- Reporting & Analytics
- Create and support compensation and bonus reports, dashboards, audit reports, and workforce analytics using SuccessFactors reporting tools.
- Stakeholder & Client Management
- Serve as a trusted advisor to HR and business stakeholders, providing best-practice recommendations for compensation and incentive programs.
- Production Support & Enhancements
- Provide post-go-live support, troubleshoot system issues, manage annual compensation cycles, and implement continuous process improvements.
- Compliance & Best Practices
- Ensure compensation processes comply with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and SAP SuccessFactors best practices while maintaining data integrity and security.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on SAP SuccessFactors Compensation and Variable Pay experience.
- At least one end-to-end implementation of Compensation and Variable Pay modules.
- Strong understanding of compensation planning, salary review processes, bonus plans, merit increases, and incentive programs.
- Experience with Employee Central integration and SuccessFactors provisioning activities.
- Knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors Role-Based Permissions (RBP), MDF, Business Rules, and workflow configurations.
- SAP SuccessFactors Certified
- Excellent communication, client-facing, and problem-solving skills.
