SAP PS Consultant
Role Summary
Experienced SAP Project System (PS) Consultant with strong expertise in project-driven business processes within SAP S/4HANA (On-Premise or Private Cloud environments).
The consultant will be responsible for implementing and supporting end-to-end project management solutions, including planning, budgeting, execution, monitoring, settlement, and integration with core SAP modules such as FI/CO, MM, SD, and PP.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement, configure, and support SAP PS in S/4HANA On-Premise or Private Cloud systems
- Design full project lifecycle processes: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure
- Configure and maintain:
- Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
- Networks, activities, and milestones
- Manage project budgeting, cost planning, availability control, and forecasting
- Ensure accurate integration with SAP FI/CO for cost posting, settlement, and results analysis
- Integrate SAP PS with MM, SD, and PP where required (procurement, production, sales projects)
- Perform system configuration, testing (SIT/UAT), and transport management
- Conduct requirement workshops and blueprinting with business stakeholders
- Support cutover, go-live, and post-go-live hypercare activities
- Optimize project accounting and reporting processes
Required Skills & Experience
- 5–10+ years of SAP consulting experience
- Strong hands-on expertise in SAP PS (Project System)
- Deep knowledge of:
- WBS structures, networks, and project scheduling
- Project budgeting, costing, and revenue tracking
- Settlement processes and results analysis
- Strong integration knowledge with:
- SAP FI/CO
- SAP MM and SD
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA data model and project accounting concepts
- Strong experience in SAP Activate methodology
- Familiarity with Fiori apps for Project System
