Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated HR Co-op (Cooperative Education Student) to support the development and implementation of a structured onboarding program for new employees joining 1Finity Americas. The co-op will work with HR, recent new hires, business stakeholders, and executives to identify onboarding needs, develop onboarding content, and establish a sustainable onboarding program. This role provides hands-on experience in employee experience, program design, stakeholder engagement, and organizational development.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Research and Needs Assessment
- Interview recent new hires and stakeholders to understand onboarding needs.
- Analyze employee feedback and onboarding-related survey results.
- Assess existing onboarding resources and identify content gaps.
Program Development
- Design and develop onboarding materials and resources.
- Create content covering company strategy, products/services, organizational structure, and key resources.
- Develop recommendations for ongoing program operation.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with HR and business leaders to validate content.
- Present recommendations and materials to leadership.
- Support executive buy-in and program implementation.
Continuous Improvement
- Gather participant feedback.
- Recommend content and process improvements.
- Support ongoing enhancement of the onboarding experience.
Required Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, or related field
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Interest in employee experience and organizational development.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience or coursework in HR, employee experience, learning & development, or change management.
- Strong Microsoft 365 skills.
- Experience developing presentations or training materials.
- Familiarity with AI or automation tools is a plus.

Ideal Candidate Profile
- The ideal candidate will work 15-20 hours per week, in a hybid role, and will be expected to work on campus in our Dallas office location.
- The ideal candidate is curious, empathetic, organized, and eager to learn how employee experience programs are designed and implemented in a global organization.
- They enjoy listening to different perspectives, organizing complex information, creating clear and engaging content, and turning feedback into practical solutions.
- The successful candidate should be comfortable taking ownership of a stand-alone project while seeking input and building alignment across stakeholders. They should be willing to work with colleagues from different functions, organizational levels, and cultural backgrounds.
- The ideal candidate is also interested in understanding both the employee perspective and the business perspective. They recognize that an effective onboarding program should help new employees feel supported while also giving them the information necessary to understand the organization and contribute effectively.
As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay scale for this position is: $18/hr to $25/hr. Placement in the range depends on several factors such as experience and skills and may change over time. Applications are being accepted on an ongoing basis.
