Tittle: Payroll Administrator

Reports To: Human Resources Manager
Job Summary
At Fujitsu, we’re seeking a Payroll Administrator primarily responsible for accurately and efficiently processing employee payroll, ensuring compliance with local laws and company policies, and maintaining related records. This role often involves data entry, payment calculations, recordkeeping, reporting and responding to employee inquiries.. This position provides accounting support to Human Resources.
Key Objectives:
- Good understanding and knowledge of HR policies, procedures and employment law, particularly in relation to their specialist area.
- Knowledge of payroll and accounting practices and principles.
- Knowledge of Costa Rican Labor law relating to key areas of responsibility.
- Knowledge of HR IS and usage of them.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure timely delivery of employee and salary certificates, as well as other requested documents.
- Respond to salary-related information requests within the expected service-level agreement (SLA).
- Be accountable for managing vendors related to the payroll process, including accounting firms, banks, and government authorities.
- Maintain up-to-date data within the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
- Ensure compliance with payroll accuracy standards.
- Provide timely reports to prevent erroneous payments.
- Coordinate continuous improvement initiatives for payroll processes.
- Adhere to the content and expectations outlined in security policies.
- Create and maintain payroll-related information as necessary within the Information Management System (IMS).
- Perform other assigned duties within Human Resources, as applicable to abilities and capacity.
Qualifications
- Language:
- English: B2+ level of English proficiency.
- Education
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Human Resources.
- Experience
