HR Specialist Internal Communications & CSR

Job Purpose       

To manage the company’s internal and external communication strategy and run the Corporate Responsible Business Program; role holder will work with HR Manager to plan, execute and measure effective and timely employee communication and Corporate Social Responsibility related strategies.

 

Specialization    

The Communications & Corporate Social Responsibility Specialist plays a key role by: 

  • Developing and managing company’s internal communications and public relations strategy, creating engaging content in a variety of mediums, including articles, videos, local townhalls, communication with local authorities, and other group-wide initiatives and events organization.
  • Acting as the country's point of contact for the Responsible Business Program. 
  • Coordinating  the Company’s Enablement & Engagement committee and its related activities. 
  • Leading the enablement and engagement strategy and its related activities which could include All Hands Meetings, Holiday Event, holiday celebrations and other special events. 
  • Drafting content and messages leading on delivery for audiences via multiple channels, including managing the Company’s intranet site, including coordination of design, content and technical functions, to ensure that it is useful for staff, and content is up-to-date, accurate and consistent with the Company brand, as well as Facebook, Instagram, and others related.
  • Developing and managing the Company’s Local Social Media platforms, ensuring they are kept under a quality and safe environment.
  • Collaborating with other internal teams for Communication delivery.

 

Education           

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Human Resources, Management, or related) or 2 years of experience in related positions.

 

Training/Professional Certification

  • Computer literacy (Microsoft®  Office packages, internet usage, etc).
  • English Proficiency (oral and written skills, CEFR B2 or above).

 

Experience          

  • Internal / External communications and corporate branding / culture.
  • Knowledged in visual design and proprietary regulation.
  • Experienced in Corporate Social Responsibility strategies and its implementation.
  • Knowledge of the ISO 9001, 14001, 20000-1 & 27001 standards is considered a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe® Photoshop, Illustrator or similar design software tools is considered a plus.

Key Accountabilities

  • Implementation of the internal communications strategy. This includes writing, developing and implementing internal communications plans, advising on internal communications issues, and providing appropriate communications tools. 
  • Development, management and promotion of the internal communications tools, including involving and training staff where necessary.
  • Developing, writing and editing content for the intranet, staff newsletter, team briefings, notice boards and other internal communication channels. 
  • Working with managers to promote effective internal communications and staff engagement. 
  • Research, development and promotion of any new internal communications tools required. 
  • Development of the corporate identity and ensuring it is applied consistently throughout the organization. 
  • Leading the enablement and engagement strategy and its related activities which could include All Hands Meetings, Holiday Event, holiday celebrations and other special events. 
  • Monitoring, researching, evaluating and reporting on the effectiveness of the internal communications, making appropriate improvements and recommendations. 
  • Developing and maintaining appropriate internal communications policies and procedures to ensure consistency in approach. 
  • Engages with the Global Communication Team to ensure the overall strategy is aligned to the objectives of the Global Delivery.
  • Is kept updated about the content and expectation of the security policies and promotes and holds employees accountable for the adecuate execution (communications wise).
  • Is responsible for developing and delivering the Responsible Business objectives as agreed in the annual Program of Work,
  • Lead the activities of the country as relates to Responsible Business. This includes developing activities, building awareness, and ensuring compliance on global initiatives.
  • Will work and collaborate with GRiP Pillar Leads to promote global initiatives across all pillars of the Global Delivery Responsible Business Program (GRiP).
  • Responsible for the diffusion of the ISO Standards awareness plan
  • Coordination of Communication of the Environmental Management System
  • Knowledge and understanding of the IMS.
  • Project support. Provides HR support to assigned projects to assure HR best practice and quality standards are implemented.
